They can only see Nick as a Grimm when they change. Otherwise he looks like a regular guy to them, just as they do to Nick.

Yeah, and they do later explain it. And you even see what they see for a single change. Let's just say Grimms look for more scary to them, then they do to anyone else! There's a reason they are so terrified!

I have been waiting for this one. This episode finally fixes the biggest problem I had with the first season: the awkward separation of the cop/grimm sides of the show. Now with Hank on board, that is no longer an issue, and the episode's stories can flow a bit more smoothly, IMO.

Yes, I knew the amnesia thing would be an issue for you. My father had heart failure resulting in severe damage to his brain. As a result he lost a large portion of his long term memory and his short term memory did not function well either.
