Good reaction as usual. Agree that this is one of, if not, the best episodes of the whole season. Not to worry with forgetting some things. This is an adjustment since you are watching/reacting at the same time as us and can’t binge it. Would recommend taking notes if that might help but if it takes your focus off the reaction than just ignore that. Though the artifact was kind of a weird thing as it hasn’t been given a name or it is still a mystery as to what it does so I can see you not remembering it right at that moment. but yes that is the artifact that Alaric got in 3x5 and Hope made a wish on then chucked in the lake. There is a theory about it that I have seen online that I like and could be interesting. When it was thrown in the lake you can see it is open, some are saying that when it was opened Cleo was released. She was trapped in there and because of her being a muse of inspiration the artifact was passed from powerful people as a source of their power. Or basically she inspired greatness out of them in some cases the deeds were terrible. Not sure how this fits in with Hope wishing for Landon to be alive and the consequences of that. Though Cleo being a muse is interesting in that while she was encouraging Hope to move on, just her presence would probably inspire Hope to try new things to get Landon back. Liked the banshee. Seemed smart as it was able to work around the truth weed so that it could still get what it wanted. This does go to one of the big problems of the season which is Hope’s obsession with having Landon and making sure nothing happens to him no matter the cost. I think this is coming to a head where something is finally go wrong and someone will get hurt because of this. also it seems Malivore and the monsters keep taking advantage of Hope using this. The banshee turned the whole inquiry from being about why it was after Cleo into who was going to die. It did say there were many roads and picked a clear road showing Landon’s death knowing what it would do to Hope. Not feeling Josie/Finch especially this episode with the continual romcom music playing in the background of all their scenes. Agree that I understand the lie but it will cause more problems later on when the truth comes out. MG and Ethan are good but this is also leading to something bad happening and one if not both of them in real danger.
