Even though this episode is one of my least favorite...

This episode was a bit meh for me. It was almost good, but there were too many things that were poorly done or inconsistent. The Big Bad (Chuck) IS the writers/showrunners. I'm sure of it. They've been putting this in the show since season 4 with Chuck and the angels/demons manipulating the boys' lives. With Metatron it was full on the showrunners/writers speaking to us through him. And then Chuck. They're telling us that they can do anything they want to. And they've been speaking to the fans through characters. Becky and the other characters who were fans of Chuck's books. And then characters like Kevin who they just keep messing with, through Chuck and others. Poor kevin! BTW, Kevin should have bee much more messed up after spending that many years in Hell. Chuck let Bobby get into heaven, because he was basically the one manipulating everything and watching what was happening. So the trials were really all about him. He had to let Bobby into heaven to sell it. Or, because he just wanted to at the time. Because it suited his script. How would they get Kevin to heaven? Chuck has control of all of that and is now right out there showing that he's in control. If he wants Heaven closed to Kevin, heaven is closed to kevin. No matter what Sam, Dean or Cas do. And Cas actually said something about it that I think you missed. Sam and Dean were just working within the script he wrote. The situations he set up. So the results of what Sam and Dean did only worked because Chuck allowed it, or chuck wrote it. Sam and Dean may have been acting on their own choices, but Chuck was setting everything up and could choose wether their actions would work or not. That's why I hate this direction the show is going in with Chuck. Chuck is really a douche. Ketch - ugh. Apparently the showrunners want Ketch around some more and figure hooking him up with Rowena was a grand idea. ugh
