The spell you thought sounded familliar the first few words is what Bonnie said a lot of times and than the specific words came afterwards. To the Elena thing, she was human and Hope is a Tribrid that can heal herself like we saw in the frist season :) To be honest the "Hello Brother" from Damon is much better then Landon's but I like these litte "familliar" lines <3

Raph isn't wrong when he says the school is no longer safe. They were attacked by triad and kids nearly died because Rick had the brilliant idea to install a blood fountain that block their magic heck even in this episode they had to evacuate everyone because yet another monster infiltrated the school who by the way manipulated Josie into using black magic to create a dark object that could have been use against Hope.

Well there is not really a way to give completely what I thought about the riddle without spoiling it because before this episode the show had basically announced some big news that gave away part of this. Otherwise the time fracturing bringing on darkness seemed kind of obvious given what we had seen so this season. The hero part I was thinking several different things while the wolf made me think they wanted you think it was Raf but really meant Hope. And the part about love made me think that we were going have a good guy turning bad or have a season 2 of TVD with Stefan going with Klaus type ending.

What I thought about the riddle is in the comment to my comment in case someone watching alongside with you for the first time. I loved that riddle and from the the time I saw that episode I was trying to "decode" it. The riddle is There are two prisoners one is the master of his cage, the other returns home without power. The sins of the father are vistited upon the daughters here and not here. New hero rises but can be felled by the golden arrow. The wolf among us has many faces, when time fractures darkness overwhemls but the greatest destroyer of all is love.

2021-07-09 11:03:24 What I thought about the riddle. The first part with the prisoners was hinted at a litte when you watched it at the time because we knew about a character return to which one of the descriptions fitted really well (I think all that know know). I was also thinking one of them could be Malivore. The sins of the father part I figured it would be Ric and Lizzie and Josie but what sins ? Of this old hunter days ? Who knows. I was also thinking it could be Klauses sins but than daughters he only has Hope. The new hero, I was thinking about the new characters we got so far. Sebastian, but he is a vamp and can be felled by multiple things so it couldn't be him. The only supernatural in this show we didn't have much information about powers and weaknesses were Clark and Landon. But well Clark and a hero ? So it left Landon and we heard every now and than that they don't know how many times he can die or if the sword was maybe the thing that could kill him ? So I was going for him and the golden arrow maybe beeing his weakness. With the wolf I wasn't sure. We have 3 wolfs of whom we know the names. Raf, Hope and Jed. Raf was a wolf for a long time but Hope can transform to a wolf when she wants. So I was maybe thinking something with Hope ? The time fractures thing, Josie talked about a solution (an hourglass) for her black magic. Hourglass > time and darkness -> black magic And love beeing the greatest destroyer. We have a love triangel so far so maybe them working against each other rather then together which leads to a bad outcome ?
