I don't get it... for many many yrs women have fought for equality and when women ARE on top and wanna show or express it you get weird about it. For so long it was about MEN ruling while women stayed in the background with mouths shut, now women can and should speak as often as they want without being told otherwise. As a woman I HAVE been told I couldn't do something or shouldn't... as a woman I HAVE been told to shut my mouth because my opinion is worthless. I'm not posting all over social media with feminism ruling my life, but I certainly don't frown upon it when it enters my view. Same for the BLM situation that has been going on for so long and IS in my face 24/7 these days, everytime I turn around or go on social media... I don't frown at it because BLM and so does every color of life under the sun and moon. Equally... UNITY is necessary, and when they use that in shows and movies it's to promote it. The CW seems to, just like many others. Sorry, I just don't get why a female hates these terms so much, unless your against equality of course, but if you had been you wouldn't have a verbal opinion on anything and your channels would not exist.

Maybe (and, as I'm a man, if I'm getting this wrong and don't understand feel free to correct me) when a specific statement or phrase is said over and over, even if it is correct, people get tired of it. Like how when racist or sexist statements get said often enough that people don't even think about it really.

"for many many yrs women have fought for equality", yes, and now they have it. Also there is nothing wrong with them being strong women, they ARE strong women, but the hashtag feminism stuff is a little cringe. Sorry if you were told your opinion was worthless, whoever said that is a piece of s**t. Also equality and feminism arent the same thing. The former is a beautiful thing that improves society, the latter, at least in its current form, is toxic, divisive and in some cases damaging.

Tammy L. Faulkner

I could understand that... but she has been saying since day one how she hates hearing girl power and such. It's up there with memory loss storylines it seems.

I hate this episode but the Barry drunk is one of my favorite things this show has ever done

Anonymous

I really enjoyed Barry been drunk.

It's because it makes it obvious, like shoving it down your throat. Kind of like when she says ok, I don't need to see the glowing eyes or the reveal, because I get it already. That's on the cringey level for her too. In her eyes, it's ok to portray a certain ideal but you don't have make it so on the nose, because it's an insult to the viewer's intelligence. That's what I got from her explanation anyway.

thanks you for saying " don't say your powefull just show it " this is real feminisme !

Yay, #Feminism! If you're not a fan of this SJW pandering in the Arrowverse, don't worry, it gets worse.

Tony

I've spoken to her about this and many other subjects. When it comes to feminism, She loves Faith (Buffy) and Laurel (Arrow) and Bonnie (TVD But a little bit less in S8) and has no problem with female heroes and all that kind of stuff. But feels it shouldn't be thrown in our faces like that. It's not needed. Equality should be accepted as a norm. No man nor woman is better. We are all equal. So she cringes if shows and movies try to push such subjects

Tony

Sorry if that offended you, I'm only adding what I know from speaking to her directly :)

Tony

David would you be so kind as to remove this? By Shannans rules this is deemed expectation.
