I loved this episode so much when it came out that I still wish they’d done a Midvale show.

Embrace being a smallville fan, I loved all the times you were excited due to recognizing smallville references/easter eggs Also I think I learned today that you have a favourite tag on patreon, I did not know that but nice to see you enjoyed this episode :)

Oh man! Good Catch Magnus. Now we will know what her favorite episodes of every show she watches is. I’m so glad this is one of them. To this day it’s one of my favorite episodes of Supergirl

One of the best Supergirl episodes for sure. And they should've done a Midvale spin-off. Maybe they still can, that casting for both of them was perfect. The girls are like 21 and 19 I think, so they're still very very young, I would buy them as a schoolgirls for a couple of seasons)))

This is definitely a highlight episode. It's such a masterfully done bit of character development and backstory. There's a reason why it's a fan favorite.

I’m so glad you liked this! RIP Kenny :( MY BOY! This episode cemented to me just how great of an idea Midvale spin-off could be. Funny thing with the Smallville references since this episode feels so much like a Smallville episode albeit done in its own way. Teenage Supergirl may just be best Supergirl? I dunno but I’d love to see it done someday maybe they can now with Supergirl ending soon

I liked this one a lot. I'm a huge Smallville fan so at the time I thought it was really cool for Supergirl to have her own Smallville like episode. It felt alot like it and had all the references the front of the school which I believe is the same school they filmed at, also the Chloe references, the Telescope, and maybe a coincidence but the first sheriff on Smallville was a killer too. Oh and of course Erica Durance being in it. Which may have been why the had her in it but from a show point of view I think John just thought she would be able to open up to her easier and listen to her.

When J'onn disguised himself as Kara's mother, he introduced him/herself as Agent Noel Neill. Noel Neill was the first actress to play Lois Lane in live-action.

Up until is point, this was my favorite Supergirl episode and is still one of my top favorites to date. I had the same reaction that there was just something about how they did the flashback that didn’t make me feel disconnected. The actresses did a Phenomenal job portraying a young version of the older characters that we know. I’m glad they didn’t do a series of this because I feel like sometimes it is good to let a perfect thing be and this is one of those times.

I would really want a show with them about those years in Midvale HOWEVER I have one problem with it. It would have to have a really good writer because I just can't see the story there. We know that Kara didn't use her powers to save people until she catch the plane Alex was in. She used her powers but not to save people. So I just don't see story there. I am not a writer so maybe there is something there...

I have to say... It's the show about aliens and superheroes but the weirdest thing about this episode is seeing Alex hate Kara xd It's understandable in this point in their lives but it's just soo weird. The fact that despite this both actresses made us believe they are still these characters is phenomenal. I love this episode. And the last scenes are everything hahah "That opossum came from nowhere!" XD And then singing in the car together <3

Great episode and reaction. When i first saw Midvale, it was the closest i got to watching smallville. I shall be watching that soon.
