I think the ending is Lizzie had been holding on to the events of the wish worlds on a subconscious level but finally it was let go and it was a return to pre-wishes Lizzie. This was a fun episode and as crazy as things got there was a logic to it all. This was such an important Lizzie ep and the actress nails it especially the comedy bits. Her facial expressions and side quips are golden.

This episode was one of the 3 bonus episodes that got added onto the season when the CW ordered 3 more. That last scene with Pedro served 2 purposes. First, it was basically showing that Lizzie forgetting in essence made this a bottle episode and now we are back to the main storyline. It also served the purpose of building a little character info about how her mind may partition off memories.

This is one of 3 bonus episodes. When they were ordered the producers already had the season fully written. Instead of trying to figure out a way to stretch the story they did 3 episodes that had little effect on the main story. They decided to have fun with them as a reward for the cast and fans.

That's always bothered me. In TVD, Rose mentioned that the humanity switch is pretty much only for newbie vamps. She was 500 and Klaus was twice that, so there's no way his switch would have still been intact.
