yeah I agree with it being silly that Martian Manhunter couldn't read him and they didn't give a single reason for that. I think it reminds me a bit of Clark in Smallville and him having the ability to fly but almost never doing it (Except for some special circumstances) If telepathy is an issue why not have it in this universe that telepathy isn't one of Martian Manhunters powers :)

Andreas Froby

Clark didn’t have ability to fly until the very end and I guess maybe season 3 premie I think it was. The few other times it seem like he did fly was just him jumping very strong or something, if I understood it right.

I feel like they could have very easily worked around this - as soon as someone knows Jonn is reading their mind they can suppress him. It literally would make sense everytime. He wouldn't have been able to read Jeremiah back in the previous episodes because he knew about the powers. He could read the jailed guy's mind and then couldn't read the kid's. I should be writing for this show smh

TheMew

Not sure if you meant the father Gregg Henry or the son David Hoflin but I was going to mention you might recognize the one who played the son earlier in the episode. He played the one main Styne brother on Supernatural s10 the one who killed Charlie and Dean shot in the bunker. The one who played the father has just been in a bunch of shows and stuff but nothing I've seen you reacting to so I would check IMDB for that.

TheMew

Yeah the Smallville ep is s5 ep 19 Mercy where the guy is holding Lionel. and Martha. That one was an homage of Saw. Yeah in some ways it's similar a guy holding someone and a water tank. Though that was more about playing games to get out like in Saw but also I guess Clark trying to find them in time and this is more a normal someones been taken and you just have to find them in time kinda thing. But yeah it does feel a bit like it.

24:05 Shan, the father is Star-Lord/Peter Quill's grandfather in Guardians of the Galaxy and he was in Dollhouse S01E10 - Haunted.

David Brown

She doesn't do reactions for the MCU movies, but she has seen them. She occasionally mentions them in her Agents of SHIELD reactions. Have you watched her Dollhouse reactions? Check out my comment after yours.

TheMew

Yeah haven't had a chance to go through the dollhouse ones yet great show was planning on it at somepoint just gotta be in the right mood to rewatch it again. Im just in the middle of a bunch of other stuff right now.

The dad has been in many things, but you most likely remember him from Gilmore Girls as Logans dad.
