I feel like a better idea as for where the stake came from would be that Klaus has a bunch of white oak ash stored up for whenever he used the daggers (which by the way, no use of the daggers since Kol had Davina dagger him near the end of season 3 and Klaus hasn't daggered anyone since daggering himself at the end of season 2 while linked to Dahlia 13 chronological years ago, so progress) and he had Davina do a transmutation spell to revert enough ash into a stake since we know from the gold dagger that she's skilled with alchemical magic

No the twins were never identical josie always had brown hair and eyes and lizzie was more like Caroline hence being named after her mother. And no Hayleys peace wasn't just Jackson it was her family which shes always wanted, a pack, her parents etc. . Plus shes probably waiting for Elijah. Klaus just broke my heart this episode and Klauorline were just meant to be.

The Deus Ex Stake I feel can just be explained by Klaus's paranoia, Someone as power hungry and paranoid as Klaus would always keep a stake to himself hidden from all others, it's just part of his character , even tho they went through all that nonsense with the white oak toy in S03

I had issue with the white stake but then I remembered all the time jump between season 4 and 5.

Elijah = "You will take my life Nicklaus" Klaus = " I've burdened you enough brother" The whole series even in TVD has been about these two and the familial bond that defines it all, this show has had its questionable indulgences with how some things played out but the core of the story has been its strength and why I loved it...
