For why she didn’t bring Laurel back... honestly idk. She could have done it without breaking anything. I think my explanation would be that since the Spear feeds on darkness, if she made the choice to bring back Laurel, she wouldn’t be able to stop herself from erasing the other hardships from her past. This would explain her explanation of not wanting to change it because it would alter her life

Possible Spoilers- this comment is for Chris about our discussion from last week........................ So here is why I said on the finale of Flash that this was before that episode in the watching order. One detail I can't say without spoilers for next season but one thing I can say is when it comes to Black Flash I believe from watching and then from seeing online that BF appeared in Into the Speed force on The Flash then he showed up in these two episodes he attacked Thawne and then he showed up in The Flash Finale and Killer Frost killed him. Some theorize online that the speed force can bring him back but thats the last we see of him and it aired weeks after these Legends episodes. If you are saying it's because he reformed and then showed up on legends after and are making it after so the alt world is placed after the end of the season then it should be after the end of Arrow too. I always took it as this and the very start of next season take place in between eps of Flash and Arrow and Black flash shows up here and then showed up on Flash and Killer Frost destroyed him. If you have a better explanation please let me know because that's how I've always seen it and how it's listed on the Hunter Zolomon wiki https://arrow.fandom.com/wiki/Hunter_Zolomon

Cliff notes since I typed a big long reply that Patreon lost in the either and don't want to type it again. Black Flash exists outside of time. His appearances in these two episodes happening in an alternate reality and 1916. Sorry that's so blunt with no nuance but I don't want to type my much more thought out reply all over again just to have it not show up. lol

Chris, these 2 episodes aired and were intended to be seen BEFORE the last 2 episodes of The Flash. That's not the case with a lot of episodes, but it was this time. The producers intended for The Flash's finale to be the demise of Black Flash for this season's storylines. I'm sorry, but you failed Shan with this particular watch order. Sure, you could explain it to her after she's watched. But, that doesn't help if she might be a little confused while she is watching it. That slightly ruins her watching experience. Next season, Arrow's and Legends of Tomorrow's premieres MUST be watched before The Flash's because of a certain someone mentioned on The Flash premiere.

Fine. I might have messed this one up. I'm not convinced, but all the same I'm sorry. For the record while I may make the initial orders myself I do post them for several weeks on discord and say hey anyone see anything I may have messed up. And nobody said a word. The reason aired order isn't used is due to a preference of Shan's that I'm not getting into, but yes. Sometimes aired order is important. Case in point next seasons premieres which no worries. Are in order.

TBH Wyatt, I think she makes it pretty clear - all of the hardships Sarah's had to deal with - ALL of them up til now have made her the person she needs to be to do what has top be done (which includes maintaining the timeline). With Laurel alive, she knows she'd make different decisions and she can't afford that if she wants to be successful.
