The explanation with Simmons made perfect sense, that what I figured out was happening to her in the last episode, when she didn't remebered that 'Bobo" was a nickname for Fitz and she told Enoch that she's confused. The chip could've been damaged by the EMP in episode 3. The storyline with Daniel and Daisy was there to accomplish a couple of things. To have Daniel stay with the team and from a bond with Daisy(I mean, I ship it already). To possibly nerf Daisy's powers. To not have Daisy present in the Lighthouse, because she could've quaked the shit out of all those tin cans, and the episode would've played out differenty. And maybe Malick will appear in the future, 'cause we didn't saw him die and Daisy's powers did hurt her at first too and were breaking her bones in season two, that's why she had to wear gauntlets. So Malick could appear with more control over his powers and the a formidable foe for the team!

The Point of Sousa and Daisy's arc in this episode was how they connected going thru that together. It also brought back what happened to Jiaying and set up a parallel for Daisy and Jiaying. It also showed how off course from the timeline Nathaniel Malick is since he was supposed to die as a Hive sacrifice in 1970. And we don't know that Nathaniel is dead. He was just hurt last we saw. And it also was a callback to when Daisy got her powers and how she couldn't control them and hurt herself. Oh and we finally got to hear how Sousa lost his leg in the war. And the chemisrty between Sousa and Daisy was great. He said while looking at Daisy - "I'm right where I need to be." This episode was so full of so many things will forward all the character arcs and the story itself. May and Coulson finally had a talk. Mack lost his parents. Deke now knows somethign the Chronicoms would love to know. Sousa made a choice to stay. We got the Jemma reveal about memory. This episode was a mid season finale.

This episode to me was the best of the season so far. I don't think it was average at all.

I really like the actor playing nathaniel and i can see him becoming "the destroyer of worlds" the way they are using throwbacks this season.

2021-07-09 11:15:36 Shan, I'm not sure if you remember or not, but just to refresh your memory in case you don't. Mack's parents were still alive in the original present day. They retired and moved away, but they were still alive. Some others who do reactions incorrectly "remember" that Mack's parents died years ago in the original present day. S03E14 - Watchdogs (timestamps 2:40 & 13:55 & 34:31) (or 4:04 & 15:18 & 35:54 in your FULL REACTION).
