I loved the British Men of Letters storyline, apart from the terrible fake accents. However, the Nephilim stuff is far more interesting and you will love Season 13,

I liked the British men of letters story line but I didn't love it, I like most of the ideas I just feel like they could have been executed better, I remember when this season was coming out and the boys were doing interviews as well as other people who worked on the show they were saying how season 11 got so big and they wanted to come down after that season and have a more back to basics approach and wanted more of a human threat I remember them saying specifically they wanted to go back to more of a season 1 feel, I don't really think they fully achieved what they were going for but it puts a little more perspective on the season. My biggest negative for this season is actually all the Lucifer and Crowley stuff, most of it was just so boring and didn't make much sense and I feel like the Lucifer character is kinda played out at this point even the original actor was kinda getting on my nerves there is just not much left for him to do.

That scene with Dean in Mary's head, telling her how he feels about her, is such a great, emotional scene.

I never liked the British Men of Letters story. It's like you say, a good villain is one that you want to see on screen, one that challenges the good guys. But, I'd much rather see Lucifer or Crowley on screen or someone like that, and it doesn't seem like these guys should really be much of a challenge for Sam and Dean, and the fact that they were is frustrating.

I hate when they do that late in a character's story, when we know they're better than this opponent by now, but damn that Dean and Mary scene was well done!

Agree, season's 13, 14, and so far, 15 are much better than 12.
