they don't want viewers to like sophia, its the complete opposite, her going against the mikaelsons made that certain and because everyone wants rebekah and marcel. it's the fact that, marcel cares for her and that's really all that matters. having davina isn't kols only "want" he wanted for a long time to be apart of the family and never really made it all the way cause he always died or in this case was betrayed by them when they killed davina. i get you think their death holds no weight but that's completely incorrect, if davina wasn't to die vincent most likely wouldn't have cut the ancestors off and unleashing the hollow. marcel would have never been in the position for elijah to kill him. the deaths push the story forward in some way or another.

Davinas death holds no weight anymore because she's been brought back. Shannan strongly disliked Elijah and Freya for what they did but with bringing Davina back there's no weight there anymore. I believe that's what she meant.

okay so then all that says is kol really isn't important because if he was then the death would hold a lot of weight because he suffered with her death and at the hands of the family he wanted to be apart of so bad. im talking strictly story because we can all have opinions but the story is all that matters, kol suffered, his family hurt him, that's all that matters story wise.

I was purely talking Shannans viewpoint on Davinas death though. I'm sure the story has meaning to people. It does to her as well. She was disgusted by what Elijah and Freya did to Davina, But bringing Davina back just made all that go away. That's what made Davinas death "have no weight" to her. They reversed a death here and it made what they did last season seem less bad.

i completely understand idk her feelings about kol or davine i personally don't care for davina but it was still messed up for kol even if she was back, just like bonnie when she died, i was pissed and even after her coming back i still felt bad about her death. but i still respect her feelings about davinas death i just heavily disagree.
