Last season, Kol said that he thought the reason he couldn't woo Freya over in 1914 back when he didn't know they were related was because she was into girls. Turns out, he wasnt completely wrong

or maybe because she knew that he was her brother?? Lmao. Freyas sexuality was never focused on because there wasn't any need or time to, as soon as she came into the show she was constantly tasked with doing something

elijah has always been this way, it is family above all for him. he will kill and torture or burn anything that threatens his family. you see that when he was meant to kill klaus in TVD, he went back on a thing that makes him him, his word. he broke his word because he was told his family is still alive and that is and always be elijahs main priority.

Yes but Marcel use Davina's power. She was a traumatized kid who didn't know what was going on back then. Even if you love the originals family, you can call them out when they're wrong hon. And Elijah was wrong for killing these girls not knowing the consequences

Jon Freezin-Rain

though she was once pregnant so maybe more relationship dependent then gender?

It took "this long" for the TVDverse to delve into LGBTQ characters because the networks that aired these shows weren't comfortable with shows focusing on them. Pretty much every show on the CW started introducing LGBTQ characters at about the same time and now it is something they actually advertise around. It's a target audience for them. I can't think of a single show on the network that doesn't have some form of representation (I don't watch every show though).
