Yoda's species hasn't been named yet - so we have to call this little guy "Baby Yoda" (though Disney insists it's called "The Child"). You got the timeline right, about 10ish years after Han was frozen, that was a tech demo. Now some bounty hunters have smaller freezing units on their ships Looks like some laid-off stormtroopers kept their work clothes and went freelance. And they don't bother to clean their armor, for some reason. Think it might count as a spoiler to name the star of the series, I know you've seen him before. Guess the voice actor for IG-11 did a good job hiding his New Zealand accent since you didn't mention it. The look and budget of this gives me high hopes for the Disney+ Marvel shows.

This show is awesome. The time frame is after Return of the Jedi (Episode 6), but many years before The Force Awakens (Episode 7).

Neat thing about the timeline - they said baby yoda was 50 years old in this episode. That means he was born around the same time as Anakin Skywalker.

Also Yaddle (a female character of the Yoda species) was on the Jedi council in The Phantom Menance, but never seen again after that in the movies. This first episode was so fun to speculate after when it first aired :)

Also, about "Solo" and "Rise of Skywalker", they're not great movies, but I consider them entertaining, specially if you don't take Star Wars all that seriously

I love the Mandolorian and can't wait for any other Star Wars D+ series. Also love the cartoons. My order for original 6 films would be ep 5,4, 3, 6, 2,1 though the Maul fight was epic. I really liked Rogue One and I personally liked Solo a lot it was a fun spin off with good Han stuff and I wish we could get a sequel film or tv series. I loved Force awakens but I wasn't crazy about Last Jedi had some good stuff but didn't like some choices Rian and the writers made and wish JJ had directed all 3. I really liked Rise but thought some stuff could have been fleshed out or a bit different which is mostly the fault of course correction because of Last Jedi so it would have been better to have JJ for all 3 but since that wasn't possible maybe even though they wanted it to be a trilogy maybe making rise a 2 parter might have allowed for some more breathing room and choices to be made.
