Our bad guy of the week was played by Cody Rhodes a.k.a. Stardust, a WWE wrestler and Stephen Amell's "nemesis"

Tammy L. Faulkner

I mean... WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes/STARDUST kicked Ollivers ass. It was bound to happen. He's part of a legendary family... it would have been insulting to give him a roll where he got his ass kicked right off the bat. Just like Dave Batista and Kane when they stared in Smallville. Aahhh... the good days of WWE.

Cody Rhodes!

Curtis' costume is very comic accurate. I love it. https://cdn.hipwallpaper.com/i/3/93/V8rlbU.jpg

If the new team should trust Oliver, then he should also trust the team. Trust needs to go both ways. You can't ask for someone's trust without giving it in return.

Chandler Ennis

This season has a lot of these parallels between the flashbacks and the current storyline that are intended to demonstrate that Oliver is retreating back into who he was when he started being the vigilante and is slowly opening back up. Trust is a repeated issue because ultimately that is the main factor of the series, Oliver became better as he trusted more people to help him, and while it is rushed for him to reveal his identity to the recruits so quickly, it is necessary for them to trust him. Thinking back, the only member of the team who was really helping him in the field before knowing his identity was Roy, and Oliver looks at his initial approach to training Roy as a failure since it pushed him away and into Slade's hands. His apology to Wild Dog should have been met with a proper apology from Wild Dog for going in without him, but it was necessary for Oliver to acknowledge that Wild Dog was right and he shouldn't have ignored him when he could've expedited the process of finding Samson.

David Brown

Wild Dog did apologize in the earlier scene (20:40) [Shan talked over him saying he was sorry] before Oliver's apology in the later scene (31:53). Wild Dog apologized first, then Oliver did.

Ollie was training them in the HIVE bunker. Also surprised you didn't recognize that Curtis Holt was Mr. Terrific. I guess you either haven't seen him or it's been a while. He is big in the comics as a member of the jsa and has been in the justice league unlimited cartoons etc. he is usually called michael holt and is straight in the comics but his intelligence and his costume are all accurate the T mask is for Mr. Terrific. I knew he was when he first showed up and was working on a sphere but may have been spoiled from comic con too. but i did recognize him from the jlu cartoon. though i think it was more knowing who was and then waiting for him to suit up in this. It's understandable though with you doing these reactions and not wanting spoilers you may not immediately recognize characters though depending on the comics you've seen or how long it's been since you've them them or a cartoon or show. we also had the added benefit of them announcing stuff, seeing trailers, seeing it from comic con or hearing a name and googling and going oh yeah that's who that character is like people do with actors they recognize from other shows.
