It makes sense that Superman would show up so I'm glad that the writers gave a legit and plausible reason for why Myriad effected Superman, especially since it made it so that Kara would have to rely on herself (and Cat and Max) to make it through this crisis. I also really like that Non is using Alex against Kara. Considering that Non has not really been developed as a Big Bad very well it makes the whole problem far more personal and with greater consequences should Kara fail. This is a really good episode, looking forward to the next one.

It’s nice you notice how similar some of the storylines in these Arrowverse shows are. It’s because they have the same show runners and writers and that sometimes limits the creative scope and causes similar plot threads like the similarities with Arrow season 1 and Flash season 1, Eddie representing Tommy, arch nemesis as the main villain, etc. That starts to change though when more shows come and the writers take priorities on certain show and the main guy for it (Andrew Kreisberg) gets fired for sexual assault and harassment.

The show moving from LA to Vancouver (CBS to CW) had a lot of benefits. This episode shows two things that it ends up hurting. One major one is obvious to everyone that knows the show. I won't say what that is until it comes to fruition though.
