Yessss! Honestly one of my favorite episodes in the entire Buffyverse :D Harmony is amazing! :D

Allan Cornett

My niece named her daughter Harmony. I think she doesn't know that the idea was planted by me years ago.

This one is a lot of fun. It used to be that a little Harmony went a long way for me but now she's a much more interesting character. Kudos to Mercedes McNab for her part in that evolution too. The ridiculousness of the opening orientation video is great. Talking about how things are so different now that W&H is under new management. Their previous boss would have them killed if they did something wrong and the new boss will kill you himself. From the employee's POV, the only real change is what the definition of 'wrong' is now.

There is a saying among actors: "there are no small parts." Which means (a bit out of context), that any character (no matter how minor) can be the lead in their own story. I think the writers (perhaps unconsciously) took this idea to heart with Harmony. And we the viewers benefit! I love this episode. It is one of the little gems of Angel S5, showcasing how different it is (at least in cinematic style) from previous Angel seasons. And it's not even the last episode of it's kind this season! (Not a spoiler. You don't know when such an episode is coming or who it's about, but you immediately recognize it when you see it.)

Great episode and great reaction, and yes thank you for persisting the the very end.

Thanks for persisting, it is appreciated. I love this episode. Harmony is honestly one of my favourite characters in the Buffyverse, thanks to Mercedes McNab's ability to make her funny, adorable and weirdly likable. She's a pretty unique vampire in a lot of ways - while Harmony isn't 'good' she doesn't seem driven by evil and cruelty the way most vamps are. Also Fred and Harmony's friendship is totally adorkable.

I'm probably in the minority, but Harm's Way is actually one of my favorite Angel Episodes. Harmony is such a better person since she became a vampire. She really is trying so hard to be a great assistant to Angel. She really goes above and beyond. I totally get why she couldn't go to Angel like Fred wanted. Angel's never been fond of her, and I still have no doubt that if he found out she tested positive for human blood he would have simply cut off her head. She wouldn't get the benefit of the doubt that his friends do.

One of the best minor characters in this show and the actress who plays Harmony does a terrific job. Harmony's one of those characters you really can't hate but simply adore. I mean, she's almost more humanizing than the rest of the Wolfram & Hart employees... actually she seems closer to human than these soulless lawyers. She deserves to have her soul back if she does continue to be... "sober" or human-blood free if that's what you call it? lol She's kind of like Spike but minus the chip when he was still soulless and he drank animal blood and fought against evil. I think it's brilliant that Harmony's been brought back to the Buffyverse even just so that she can retain that "ditzy but seemingly harmless and sweet vampire without a soul who tries to be evil but is really bad at it." 😂

It's a law firm where the boss will take the law into his own hands.

I can't help it, I love Harmony and I've loved her ever since she first showed up as a vampire lol. Her getting weepy because of Spike - i'd get weepy if Spike used to be my bf and he didn't like me and was leaving, too! lol

Holi117

honestly, Harmony's whole persona, plus the ever developing Spike... plus many other vamps we see on buffy and angel, just make me believe the whole soul thing is a bunch of crap in so many ways lol. Like, having a soul doesn't change the vampire, it just gives them guilt, shame - makes them think twice or see the right and wrong choices more clearly and care more about the consequences. But it doesn't change who they are. especially since so many soulled people do evil things. Honestly, I think the Angel/Angelus thing is like a mental illness/separation, to allow angel to cope with the guilt - if he believes it wasn't him, that its two entities, its easier for him to carry on. VS Harmony who is soulless but has chosen to come off human blood and has always been exactly the same, human or vampire (personality wise), and then Spike choosing to do good, choosing to fight for a soul, etc. I get why angel would need to believe he never did those things when he had no soul, that he's a different person, but it just doesnt sit right with me lol

It's like Harmony's "The Zeppo". I always enjoy that kind of episode.

One of my all time favourite episodes. I'm a big fan of Harmony and this episode really showcased her humour. I also liked the message of appreciating what you have because others would dream to have what you have.
