It's Ben Edlund's IP, he was a Buffyverse writer. Amazon Prime has done 2 seasons, There might be a season 3 next year. This is the first version of The Tick with a proper continuing story. The Sat morning cartoon on Fox was funny with a sweet jazz theme song. The live action series on Fox was mostly a miss. The guy at the end is partly Deathstroke inspired.

I haven't seen this one until now. I've seen the original with Patrick Warburton (Another announcer guy).

I enjoyed this reboot a fair bit. I watched the run when it first came out on Amazon, but haven't watched the newer ones from it. The cartoon was the first adaptation of the comics, that was a ways back. then came the Warburton live action series, then this. I would reccomend the Warburton Tick series as well. Slightly different take, but still good and funny.

Haven't seen the reboot yet, but really enjoyed the cartoon. Looking forward to watching this!
