I'm still not sure I am ready to watch the next episode.

I will most likely watch it tomorrow.

I think it just hit me a bit harder than I thought because... well Bobby is like their father, and he is an amazing dad - and I'm pretty close with my dad and yeah...

Sorry about the wait guys.

Tomorrow it will be exactly four years since my dad passed away, so I totally understand. Take the time you need

Take as long as you need Shan. Is no rush.

Death's Door is to me the saddest of all Supernatural episodes in 14 seasons. But it was also one of the most beautiful, we got to see so much of Bobby's life. It was a great homage to a great character.

Don't even worry about it. I stopped watching the show for about a year after Bobby died for the same reason. I finally did finish season 7 though, and caught up with 8 just in time for the season finale. So don't worry! We've been there!

My dad just passed. Take your time. We understand.

We get it. Do what you need to.

I get it... I was a daddy's girl. He wasn't my biological father, but he was my dad no matter what. I'll always miss him, just like I'll alway miss my mom. Let your emotions play catch up for as long as you need. We get it.

I understand, of course. I remember how I felt the first time I ever watched this episode. Especially as I was the 'tomboy' out of all my sisters who was closest to my dad and suffered a lot after we lost him in the summer of '99. Coincidentally, he always wore baseball caps, his name was Robert (everyone called him either Bob or Bobby), and the first car I ever owned was the '67 Impala he gave me after I graduated from high school. Oh, yeah...and the house we grew up in....well, was kind of 'haunted'. So you can see just a few reasons why I love this show so much. :) Even though this episode hurt for all those reasons and more, it strangely also gave me a relatable feeling of courage....like, if Sam and Dean can go through losing their dad, not just once, but twice....then I can survive it, too. The pain of losing him never goes away, of course. But it really has made me appreciate the good father that I was lucky enough to grow up having, and through the years I've come to appreciate even more all the valuable lessons he taught me.

I’m like that when someone loses a mom in stuff I like.
