The show with vampires is „Moonlight“ (without the -ing). :-) . Which is actually not a bad show, but unfortunately only lasted 1 Season.

You're right, that was the guy who played Luke (same guy who played The Judge in Surprise/Innocence, too). I remember watching this back as it aired, and I loved it. Rewatching the pilot now, I can't remember why -- it has not held up over the years!

I think this is the first time I've made it through an entire episode, even though I was crushing on Cybill Shepherd at the time. The show is considered 'ground-breaking' so it presumably gets better. Bruce Willis was the noob in (I think) his first staring role. Cybill had been a model in the late '60s and acting since the early '70s.

I was so exited for a few seconds! I thought you reacted to Moonlight, which is a good and interesting vampire show that I think you would enjoy! Maybe in the future...? Please?

Moonlighting was one of my favorite shows in the 80s but I'm not surprised that Shan wasn't impressed with the pilot.

I really liked that show! Jason Dohring was in it, also - he played Logan Echolls in Veronica Mars. It was a good show. Shame it didn't last longer.

I _loved_ this show when I was a kid, but watching this now is putting me to sleep!

Dukes of Hazzard, Knight Rider, Moonlighting.... yup, these were the popular, "quality" shows of the 1970s/1980s in the US. I grew up with these. Not too many have stood the test of time.

Shan, I don't know if you recognized him but the Mohawk guy is the actor/dancer (Dennis Stewart ) that played Leo Balmudo from Grease and Grease 2.

This is one of the shows, like Quantum leap, that shouldn't be judged on its dull pilot. Moonlighting, especially gets really meta , witty and smart in its storytelling. Season one (only 7 episodes) is just a basic detective show but the showrunners decided to go in a different direction in its second season. And that is the show I love.
