Lincoln said that all inhumans have a purpose. Lash was the cure to hive. Whether it’s killing inhumans he deemed a threat or curing ones that were good. In ep 3x7 he literally said to Lincoln I am the cure lol

Lash had never met an inhuman with the parasite until daisy so he never had to use that power.

You can see the Lash was able to swallow up Hive's sway parasites when Hive tried to sway Lash. He did the same thing with the parasites that he did when he removed them from Daisy. That was his purpose. Maybe at some point after Andrew fully became Lash he evolved more and there was much more of Andrew left in him. You see back in previous episodes that Lash could have tried to kill Daisy and he didn't. He deemed her worthy for some I would guess cause he knew her to be good. He also told May he would never hurt Daisy.

Desperate times, desperate measures...What...Hang on What!...That's what I love about this show, even after multiple viewings it's still fresh and...(how did I miss that first time around...like when Lincoln elevated Skye's expectation of Inhumans...meaning our expectations are high; need I say more)
