Thanks again Shan! I won't be able to watch this until tonight but duly noted, if I ever get on the pilot tier, no more old shows, lol.

I really liked this as a little kid, but I'm afraid not even nostalgia can save it now. But I'm gonna watch it anyway and share your pain lol

Wow, this is a blast from the past. I remember watching the original from the 1980s as a kid and then the reboot from 10 years ago.

one of my favorite shows as a young boy, together with the A-team and Airwolf

"Sit and spin" a term used a long time ago... The meaning: shove it up your ass. I liked Knighr Rider growing up, still do. Than again I grew up on all the older shows and still like all. Yes, not the greates acting, special effects or plots, but they are still fun to watch from time to time. Thank you Brandon Wiesner for getter to to try it out... Great choice.

As a comic book, science fiction, fantasy fan growing up I tended to favor tv shows with a fantastic element (and still do) so I did watch and enjoy Knight Rider while it aired in the 80s. I can see how it might not appeal to younger viewers of today. Beyond the clothing, hair styles, cars, and old technology the style of filming seems different: pacing, lighting, stunts, are not as well done as today and even the acting, directing and editing seem different. Today's TV budgets and newer filming technologies make a big difference.

I thought it was but I have yet to watch it and I'm nervous about the comment she wrote, lol. I hope she enjoyed it at least a little though.

Finally got to watch this. Yes, you did pronounce my name correctly, lol. I had no idea you weren't into older shows with cars as the main attraction. I had a sinking feeling after I watched your Dukes of Hazzard reaction but I liked watching this one better than Dukes today. I didn't really choose this one because of that SPN ep but it was just good timing that you watched that one recently. I chose it because it has fantasy, sci-fi and action. A couple things maybe you missed. Michael had reconstructive surgery, which is why he woke up and looked like David Hasselhoff, lol. They said that because he was shot in the face, they'll never know what he used to look like. Also, before Michael started the race, the woman mentioned that she didn't know where "Buddy" went and Michael said don't worry, he'll turn up. It was a different time. In today's world, parents always know exactly where their kids are every waking moment. Back then, kids would wander off but they would come back for suppertime, or for bedtime. In any case, just to give you some perspective, I was probably right around Buddy's age when this show aired. I get that it's before your time and you are more modern minded. I was laughing too at all the old tech, like pay phones, old ass computers and that ridiculous disk drive (even before floppy disk dude's time, lol) but I think KITT still holds up. If a car was made like it today, it would go for a lot of money. Some of the acting was pretty weak but I think it got better over time. This was just the pilot and they were still kind of figuring things out. Not that I would ever expect you to continue the show, lol. Anyway, I can't thank you enough for picking me for the quiz and reacting to the show. I'm sorry it wasn't your thing but hopefully it wasn't too terrible for you. At least you weren't looking at the ceiling, like I saw you doing for Dukes.

My fave show growing up. Still listen to the Stu Phillips theme song in iTunes semi-regularly.

Thanks for this pick! Maybe it doesn't hold up well, but worth it for the nostalgia factor! Knight Rider is one of my all time favorite theme songs.

Zoot!

MacGyver was my fav show, but agree on A-Team and Airwolf too!

Paul Gibson

This was a great big fun blast of nostalgia, good choice B-Dawg. I can't help but smile at the theme song. Must be one of the most iconic

Whew, made it through on the 2nd try. I imagine the director yelling "bigger, act as big as your hair". And that kid belongs in a Godzilla movie, I guess he's the demographic that'll be wanting Knight Rider lunchboxes. The reaction was fun, and it wasn't "My Mother The Car" (1965), so it could have been a worse car themed TV show :)

Well, that was kinda different. I heard of it, knew about it. Guardian of the galaxy mention it, in the second one. It was funny, special when you said that you were going to be sick when you saw the computer.
