As someone who has been a Titans fan for years, decades in fact, I'll say this, it was OK. I didn't hate it but I feel like it has the same problem that a lot of the DCEU movies have, the tone is just wrong. It doesn't feel the way a Titans story should feel IMO. But it was only one episode and there is plenty of room for it to grow into something better. Fingers crossed.

Im a newbie to titans have absolutely no idea who any of the characters are, but as a show it looks a little raw right now but i do see potential in it, i would keep watching.

I haven't gotten the DC streaming service, so I haven't even seen this yet. It's actually cool, because I can watch it with you for the first time! I'll give my thoughts after watching.

Well, there were elements of it that were cool. I like that it's more mature and they don't hold back on the violence. Yeah, TTG is a travesty. As bad as people are saying this series is, it could never reach the suckiness of that. Robin is really cool and Raven is interesting. I don't know about the her not being able to control what's inside her thing. I like it better when it's just her and she does the powers on her own but maybe that will develop more as the show goes on. Starfire is just, W..T..F! They completely bastardized her character. She looks horrible, she acts nothing like she should and what is up with her powers? She's just a firestarter? I really don't like the direction they went with her. Plus yeah, killing people and enjoying it is not at all the Starfire we know and love. Although we only saw a little bit of him, I did like Beast Boy too. He's into video games, just like on TT, lol. Are they going to introduce Cyborg? Maybe I want it to be too much like the original show but it was iconic and is still the best version of the Titans yet. Anyway, despite Shitfire, I am interested enough to keep watching. I see you're uploading another ep this week, so I'm looking forward to it.

Crystal Castles - originally an Atari arcade game in 1983. Don't know what system the security guard is using... That was better than I expected. I hope Starfire's hair changes when she figures out who she is. So far, I'm liking the Robin / Raven dynamic. Feels like 14 year old Raven will get some story arcs and she won't be in a romance sub-plot.

I knew this show was gunna be good! its was spectacular! finally, a successor to Constantine! finaly a show worth watch with the lights off! wasn't perfect, no show is... but it was definitely incomparably better than anything the Arrowverse has done thus far

I just watched this for the first time with Shan. I don't know if it was Shan's enthusiasm, but I really liked it and I thought it would suck. Starfire looks and acts wrong; other than that it drew me in.

There are some things I liked and some things I thought could have been done better with the series mostly starfire everything from her look to her personality before and after amnesia and her powers are all off. Though Shan she does actually use Kory Anders in the comics as an alias so that wasn't made up by the show.

Not sure why you would think her clothes would burn off. If her power is 'fire', then some other part of that suite of powers would stop the fire reacting with her and what she's wearing - basic superpower physics!
