I love Elena with no humanity, it’s the complete opposite of who she is. She was known for her compassion and being an absolute darling who could do no wrong, then in a blink of an eye it’s now been taken away. I personally think it’s brilliant because characters need to switch it up a bit.

Klaus hasn’t personally been looking for Katherine for 500 years, but he has people beyond what you see in the show looking for her. Remember when they first introduced him he had those witches and there were those random vampires that Elijah killed looking trade Elena to trade. He essentially has a lot of off screen influence. I can’t say more without spoilers. Taylor is a dram queen though, he isn’t Katherine.

Klaus' blood is the only cure for a wolf bite because he's the ORIGINAL hybrid, whereas his other siblings are just Original Vampires, if you remember Klaus has a different father from the rest of his siblings Klaus' real father was a wolf, that's why his blood is the cure and not his siblings :)

As for Klaus "not really looking" for Katherine or Tyler, he's literally looking for Katherine in this episode. And he's said that Tyler's real punishment is looking over his shoulder and not being able to come home without being killed. Even if Klaus gets a little lacks with his vendettas when things in Mystic Falls get crazy, I dunno bout you but if I knew there was someone out there who just MIGHT kill me, I'd still steer clear lol.
