God, I remember that I REALLY started to ship Angel and Cordelia around this time. Like, more than I ever did Buffy and Angel. But that's just personal preference since I prefer slow build relationships over an "instant connection" type of thing, so you can imagine how much I loved the idea of Angel and Coredlia together haha

Cordelia. 😭❤❤❤ My shipper heart can't take this episode, too beaut. And it really cements Lilah as an antagonist in her own right... she's more of a threat now, and perfectly willing to play dirty. And DARLA, evil queen of my heart, I think I love her more with each episode lol.

The 'B' part of my BAngel heart had long fled to Spuffy by the time this episode aired, but this is when Angelia well and truly congealed. Cordy is smart, sexy, brave, vulnerable, sassy and just plain adorable. And even though her character has changed and grown across 5+ seasons, those threads have always been there to see if you looked.
