I understand not liking drugs in TV shows. However, in this case given that her dad is an alcoholic, it does make sense that she has an addiction problem...especially given what Laurel has gone through in the past year or so. Oh, as for do the cops really do that much damage to someone's house that they search. I think it depends on what country/jurisdiction you are in, but in the US I'd say yes/no. No, I don't think they normally do. But, yes they can if they are searching for something small (pills). Or, if they don't really care about catching you, but are trying to convince you to flip on someone else, the cops sometimes go over the line and do a lot of stuff to make your life a living hell (breaking down your door, smashing your walls, etc...).

I remember seeing the next week promo for this episode, and there was a second of Slade in Deathstroke Armor and it was amazing, glad you love it too!

I get it. I really do, but let's be honest. Laurel was actually guilty. She made it way too easy to discredit her.

Two things can be true at the same time: Laurel can be right about Blood and also be a woman whose family history and life experiences have brought her into an addiction that's made her unreliable as an employee and generally as a person. But, I agree with you about the whole "make a character go through a drug addiction" trope is over used. It's annoying and lazy to me.
