This is a really good episode. One thing that I had trouble with when I first saw it was the idea that all you needed was a few drops of vampire blood in a drink and you'd be turned. Seemed too easy. So easy that I'd think vampires would have no trouble turning lots of people, and very little could be done to stop it - or them. So why are they becoming extinct? So that was something that I needed time to absorb. And about Sam and fighting. I think he can fight and hold his own. He's just never really had to, when Dean was around. I think he holds back - maybe because he's afraid and doesn't want to get to where fighting, and killing, is easy for him. Maybe trying to hold the darkness back. Or, maybe not. But he can fight. He's won against Gordon before - when Dean couldn't help. So, I think that when Dean isn't around, he can fight just fine. I do really like to moments between the boys and when they open themselves up to each other. Just makes you love them all the more. I'm glad Gordon is gone too, but now Bella is pissing me off. She really didn't have to tell Gordon where the boys were. She could have given him the wrong information. And she could have called them to warn them that Gordon was out of jail. But she didn't. So what's up with that? Does she really care so little about everyone else? And she knows the boys now. They even saved her life. Maybe she doesn't feel indebted to them because she "paid" them for what they did. She's a piece of work. When I first watched Season 3 I wasn't a big fan of it. Most of the time I was focused on waiting for them to find something to get Dean out of his deal. But Kripke likes to make us fans suffer. Re-watching the season - especially through these Reaction videos - has helped me appreciate Season 3 more. It's actually pretty darn good. There are some really good episodes coming up. The next one isn't one of my favorites - except for the parts between the boys. I love that part! It's also very important. So I'd be interested in your thoughts on that when you do your season review.

2021-07-09 13:19:03 Correction All of the writers Are Evil(Kripke is just pretty much the worst) as someone? stated recently they like to draw us in with humor ,emotion ,drama & horror then rip our hearts out and then they laugh but it's a roller coaster ride that love also ppl have been underestimating Sam from day one but he's just a reluctant fighter but a really good one and the way he kills Gordon is bc of his strength and frustration that he'll never stop plus he had just attacked Dean & Sam had no other weapons while many think it was his "powers" but I don't!!😎🔥😈💀🔯🔮
