Your issues with all the things that weren't explained are my issues too. I just feel like there were whole parts of the story missing.

I don't know how I feel about the last two episodes. Agatha randomly turning out to be the one who bound Jen felt random and tacked on. I was expecting something more to come from her hallucination with the guy trying to drown her. Everything else - Billy creating the Road, Agatha and her son creating the ballad as a con -like, yeah, it all makes sense 𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺, but feels very anticlimactic; and I can't say I'm super keen on seeing a follow-up series. I agree with Shan, I would have preferred more with Agatha's powers and why she kills witches. There's no story or nuance there, she just does it for shits and giggles and to be more powerful. Fine, but after a season where there seemed to be a glimmer of depth, between the background with her son and everything with Billy, she ultimately just stayed exactly the same (if albeit dead now); and Find that kind of arrested development boring (unless it's narrated by Ron Howard).
