It’s definitely not your nostalgia goggles when it comes to the charmed reboot. I was born in 2000 so I didnt really grow up with charmed. I barely finished the entire series around last year. I started it when I was like 16 but I stopped watching it after prue died because she was my favorite character but I gave it another chance and ended up liking it. That being said, the reboot was bad. The story telling was bad and it didn’t help that the acting wasn’t great either. The use of CGI was also another reason I disliked it. Going back to Roswell though, I really like how they wrote Rosa’s character so far. I like the fact that she learns she’s healthy but has that fear of ruining her second chance at life. I just hope they don’t do that annoying little sister trope that a lot of these types of shows do.

This was a good first episode of the season. Lots going on, making it so you want to see the next episode right away. Had to see more Noah again...fun. Isobel is pregnant with Noah's child, more potential trauma and connection to Noah she has to deal with, as she's dealing with everything that he did to her. Michael is not doing well and making a lot of...choices. Maria's mother seemed to be on the way to the bar like she always is, but then someone or something showed up behind her. I'm glad Kyle knows Rosa is alive, I wonder why they waited so long to tell him? I liked Rosa in the episode, she's dealing with a lot of questioning of why she's alive and Max isn't, feeling like she's not worth it, hopefully she can believe she is soon and can make the most of her second chance at life. Although she has a lot of messed up things going on in her head right now because of Noah and Max running around and Max apparently wants her to stop Liz from bringing him back, why?.

I actually really liked season 1 of the Charmed reboot. It was nothing spectacular, but it was still fun for me. Seasons 2 and 3 just continually went downhill until it became unwatchable. I know it’s an unpopular opinion, but I can’t help how I feel 😅 I do wish they would make a better Charmed reboot though. The general story is great, and I would love to see more shows like that.
