Patrick - Excelsior

To be honest I’m enjoying this season. I’m not saying it’s the best season but I still enjoy it. In some ways it reminds me of Dexter. Interesting flashbacks. I like they are not trying to show Dorothy as a misunderstood angel. She was an obsessive and abusive mother trying to use to her daughter to give herself everything she’s ever wanted. While there were some good moments, most of the time she was way too hard on Trish. In the end Jessica is right, Dorothy made Trish who she is. OK, not great but at least the death of the cop was not what Trish was trying to do. As a vigilante, she would still be legally guilty but morally, there is some grey area. Her solution, to beat up another bad guy and let him get away so that the police will look at the Vigilante instead is not a great idea but at least she is not a Punisher 2.0. Again, the flashbacks do kind of explain why Trish feels and acts the way she does.
