The great thing about the characters returning is, they got all the same actors from the movies. Even Johnny's gang, they were all the same actors. The ones that played Kumiko and Chozen in the movies are back in this episode as well. That really is commitment to the source material.

Daniel back in Okinawa. Love the Mr. Miyagi flashbacks. The one scene where Daniel says "I know" is a deleted and never aired scene from KK2. Respects Pat Morita, RIP. Well at least Johnny finally went to see Robby. Man, Hawk again goes too far, you don’t mess with a persons Lego build. You just don’t. And of course, we have the ‘teacher didn’t see the bad guy bullying the innocent’ trope so they get blamed. Can’t believe she ignored him saying it was his science project. Kumiko!! Tamlyn Tomita was born on January 27, 1966 in Okinawa, Japan. She was 56 while filming this episode. Woman looks amazing. Hey, no crying over spilt soup. The conversation between Robby and Johnny could have gone better. I can see both sides but Johnny shouldn’t have brought up Robby putting Miguel in hospital. It doesn’t help what he’s trying to do. Damn, that was a gangster move on the soccer field Demetri. Of course you’re going to pay for it later. I love that “No one ever fought to the death for me” line. When Kreese first ordered his drink, I thought he said honey and water, seemed out of character. But what he really said Cutty and water. Cutty is a brand of Scotch Whiskey. Which is much more in character with John Kreese. That seemed a bit ridiculous that the Cobra’s didn’t get any punishment. Why would the councilor side more with them, I’m sure rumors of what the Cobra’s are like and how they treat people have gotten to the teachers, They are not that oblivious. I can see not playing favorites based on rumors, but to favor them, with that knowledge and nothing showing the Miyagi Do are more violent. Sorry, that’s a bit contrived for me. While I like that Johnny took what Kreese said and learned something positive from it. I also like they didn’t have Miguel walk just because Johnny yelled at him, too cliché. Ha, they showed the ice rack Danial used when he broke the ice blocks to win the bet in KK2, but it was just a fancy way to serve ice here, cute. Chozen!!! I love them into bringing back actors from original movies.
