The production of Oz I mentioned in the previous episode's comments was a community theatre production. A few adults, especially as the leads; many kids in the ensemble, all making for a cast of 37, plus crew. It went well, but was very exhausting. And then I promptly got sick literally the next day, which I'm slowly getting over... This show really twisted the knife with Carson for rewatch; slowly weaving his story where no one has time to hang out with him, before killing him off. Sad, but really well done.

You were wondering if the episodes (SG-1 2-parter Heroes and Atlantis Sunday) were written by the same person ...The answer is no they were not ..Heroes was written by Robert Cooper and Sunday was a story written by Martin Gero who said it was something he had been wanting to write for a very long time... A story about how the people on Atlantis were just taking a day off without anything bad happening ...But he didn't feel like it was a Stargate story ....He shelved his idea until I believe a point where he added some stakes to the story and thus we ended up with Sunday 2. In my notes ...Stating I don't want to have to go through what McKay went through and hope I never lose my best friend ......You ..In the recording ...Without even acknowledging it continues into the episode ..HA! ...Aight ..Cool ...Glad were on the same page Froots ;) 3. Aight ...Apparently McKay hired the wrong guy? ...Seems he wanted to hire some dude named Grayson merely off the fact that it reminded him of Dick Grayson a.k.a. Nightwing (which by the way is yet another Batman reference by McKay) ...Interesting way of seeing who qualifies to work on Atlantis ....Oh you have a name that's similar to a comic book character I know?? HIRED. 4. Ok as the intro starts playing and we JUST. saw a Wraith Queen wake up ...I'mma put this out there ...Something I hope this episode actually answers ...Since we're well aware that Teyla can sense Wraith over great distances ...How come she never sensed a Wraith Queen hiding on the damn ocean floor? 5. Yeah ...I'm well aware of your stance on: "You go left, left, left, left until you can't go left anymore" ...But Froots ...You do understand you just described how to walk in a circle or at the very least a square ..Correct? 6. Oh really?? The fact that they're DEEP. under water means Teyla hadn't picked up on the Wraith until now??? ...So you're telling me she can sense Wraith SEVERAL. lightyears away out in space ...But water ...Yeah nah ...Water is kryptonite to psychic powers???? ...Get the fuck outta here with that shit ...Water density in my opinion should NOT. interfere with mental abilities ...added later... Then again we've seen other forms of media where psychic abilities can be blocked by wearing a fancy bucket helmet on your head ...Soooo.. Whatevs I guess 7. Ok .."Teyla" just told Ronon that she wouldn't want to do anything that would make Ronon feel uncomfortable ...And then proceeded to kick him in the nuts ...I'm thinking that this Wraith Queen has a slightly different view on what makes people uncomfortable ...And also ...She COULD. have stuck to pretending to be Teyla ...I doubt anyone (aside from us) would've noticed 8. Yeeeeaaah... I dunno what the fuck the Ancients were smoking when they designed those pressure suits ...But McKay and Sheppard have got that dookie walk going on while traversing towards the Wraith cruiser ...And I feel like the way those arms are attached to the suits it would be damn near impossible to do anything with your hands while in those suits ...So how are they going to climb inside the Wraith cruiser? Is an entrance hatch just going to conveniently be on the same level as them? ...added later... Ok we just don't get to see them entering the ship ...They're just IN. all of a sudden 9. Yeah aside from suspension of disbelief ...I guess we're just going to have to assume McKay knows how to read Wraith on a console that's really not indicating how much time is left until the bomb goes off ...I feel like they should have had some sort of screen in front of them aswell giving more information since the symbols on the device itself don't seem to change ...So technically there's no countdown on it visible to McKay and Sheppard 10. Ok so for the keen observers ..The Wraith Queen is probing Teyla's mind to figure out what Teyla is hiding from her ...Apparently they've fixed the Wraith cruiser and Sheppard says he can fly it to safety ....One small problem ...Sheppard can't fly a Wraith cruiser ...Sure he can fly a dart perhaps (unless the ones he's flown were pre-programmed) ...But anything larger than that has been known to require someone with psychic powers ...As in ...Teyla ...She's the only one who can fly big Wraith ships as far as we've been told ...I guess for SOME. reason (cause we need to wrap up the episode) the Wraith Queen doesn't know her own tech requires a psychic component in order to operate it ...OR... She thinks Sheppard has some abilities of his own that he didn't show to have before .....This is either obviously a ploy ...Or a plothole 11. Really?? They just assume she's dead after having pumped a 100 bullets into her?? She's a Wraith! ...She might be able to regenerate! ...I mean ...We got a minute left of the episode so she probably IS. dead ...But still ...It's kinda annoying they're not trying to make sure she STAYS. dead ...Get Ronon to use one of the 500 knives he's hiding on his person so you can cut the queen's hand off ...At least IF. she comes back then she won't be able to feed 12. You're right ...We didn't deal with the Wraith for quite a few episodes ..According to the fan wiki... With the exception of hallucinations seen in 3x09 - "Phantoms" this is the first time a Wraith has appeared on screen since 3x07 - "Common Ground" ...An absence of ten episodes... It is also the first time since 3x04 - "Sateda" that the Wraith are the MAIN. threat of the episode, a 14 episode absence ....I'm guessing they're still fighting eachother cause of how many there are in comparison to how low their "food supply" is
