I really didn't think you were invested in the show enough to care about any of the characters so your brain completely hanging on the death of Rose was mighty entertaining to see. As to the return of the Daleks, they have a long history of coming back from complete annihilation worthy of any Marvel character.

This is a good episode. Loved your reaction to Rose being "disintegrated". Part of me does wish they had left the revelation she was alive until the next episode. That part, pretty much from where she get zapped through the end of the episode kind of feels like how the next episode could have picked up. But, all things considered, it all works out alright; and the actual ending sets the stakes for the next episode. You say how it spoofs a lot of early aught reality TV, which it does; it's a little dated with some of the specific references, but the genre was pretty new(ish) when this first came out; and has only expanded since then.

I thought this was a pretty good episode, I liked the references/making fun of shows like Big Brother and Weakest Link, I wonder if they knew reality shows would eventually take over and there would be so many of them. That moment when I thought Rose was dead, I was shocked, a little bit in denial, sad but thankfully I didn't have to stay that way to long, since it was revealed she was alive, this episode. I also liked the hidden Bad Wolf theme that has been going throughout the season, the first time I watched this, I noticed Bad Wolf, a little bit later in the season, when I think I heard it being said over a radio or something like that. I thought, didn't I hear or see Bad Wolf before, then I started paying more attention, but that was not long before the show basically told us, so not as clever as I thought I was. It's like in a mystery, where you think, I figured out who the killer is, then they say and that's the killer and you think. Oh...Well... I still figured it out a few seconds before it was said. I know the season hasn't had the best episodes and has been a bit of a struggle to get through, which is something a lot of people feel about this first season. Not the strongest season, although for me I do think it had a few good episodes. I kind of liked the Charles Dickens episode, I enjoyed the Dalek episode and the one about Rose's father and I liked the 2 parter the Doctor Dances, although I feel like I mostly liked half of that 2 parter, some of the creepier aspects in the first part, the introduction to Jack and the ending of the second part, so 1 episode worth of those episodes I guess. I don't know if your going to continue with a second season, but if you do, I'll definitely be here to watch the reactions and hope that you find them more enjoyable.
