At least McKay had the decency to NOT. name his country after himself ...I can certainly think of SOMEONE. who will take EVERY. opportunity to name something in a game after herself .......Right .....Froots? 3. I gotta be honest ..I don't see the harm in continuing playing this "game" IF. the sole purpose is to help the civilisations in it ...I mean ...Sure Sheppard and McKay were at odds with eachother a bit but that was only cause they thought it was a game ....But as Zelenka later pointed out there was a civilisation out there that could benefit from knowing about the location of a certain resource ...I don't see that as wrong ..Or as having too much power ...I would encourage giving them a gentle nudge in the right direction and then just leaving them be ....Then again ...We've never had much luck with these types of games have we Froots? ...We'd probably make them go bankrupt within 5 minutes without cheating 4. HA! Yeah you're right.. Nola (the leader of McKay's people) has definitely been hitting that blue gello HARD. ...Her teeth are blue as FUCK. 5. Ok Sheppard ...You're being a bit of a sore loser ...I agree with McKay ..He DIDN'T cheat ...Cheating would be if you'd spawn shit in ....What McKay did was share some of his own knowledge ...It's like ...If you meet a tribe of cavemen and tell them how to make a wheel ...Is that cheating?? ...No ...It's just TEACHING. them something new ...Sheppard keeps calling it cheating but I can think of waaaaaay worse things that would ACTUALLY. be considered cheating 6. Alright ...Now Zelenka and Lorne have started playing too and are seeing it as a game?? ....Yeah they're idiots ...They KNOW. how real the consequences of using this device are and they've started to play against eachother regardless?? ....Guys! ...The fuck!? 7. PAUSE. ...McKay and Sheppards people have just started a war and I'm thinking what would be a solution to this problem ...I'm thinking.. Use the Puddle Jumper to shoot down EVERY. airship that McKay's people send up.. Make those ships go down gently like the other one and then shoot some holes in front of Sheppard's people's armies to have them stand down too ......Then I'm thinking ...Maybe that's not enough ...What if we had the Daedalus hover in between the 2 countries... It'd be a GHUGE. display of force to these underdeveloped countries ...Bluff and tell them to stand down immediately or we'd MAKE. them stand down and then fire off some warning shots ...Aaaaaand now the Daedalus just beamed McKay and Sheppard onboard ...Turns out they were in orbit ...I gotta be honest ..I only half remember this episode ...But I'm sitting here hoping it ends up with the Daedalus going down to the planet and using my idea cause that'd be cool as FUCK. ...Aaaaand PLAY. 8. Nola: "What happened?" ..McKay: "They shot down one of your ships" ..Ronon: "Maybe it was one of the catapults" ..Nola: "No that's impossible!" .....Ehm.. Bish ...A Puddle Jumper can be shot down with a makeshift catapult ...Your airships are FUCKED. 9. Y'know what was nice about Sheppards plan? ...The fact that when the Daedalus started strategically bombing places that had ZERO. people in it (so that nobody would get hurt) ...All the civilians decided to play along since they undoubtedly weren't stupid enough NOT. to notice that NOBODY. was getting hurt ....And it was also really nice of their armies to ceeb on calling in and state NONE. of the explosions were actually hitting any targets worth of value ...Don't you just love it when a plan just ...I dunno ..Works out with ZERO. issue .......Yeah this was all pretty quickly wrapped up 10. In all honesty I don't think the episode was resolved as good as I had hoped ...I think MY. idea would've been better ...Sheppards idea to fake a doomsday scenario and then TELL. them it was all fake was a bit iffy ...They could STILL. decide to go back to war once the Atlantis team leaves ...But MY. idea would make them too scared to incur the wrath of their so called Oracles ..They'd be thinking we'd always be watching ....Besides ...In my head I saw the Daedalus above their city and the people looking up in awe ...It would've been a COOL. visual effects shot ...Big sad 11. The episode waaaaaasss.. Ok ...The premise sounds cool though ...Imagine any game you'd play ...You'd find out that it was ACTUALLY. all real and you could go there and interact with the people you "created" ...I dunno... I find that part of it fascinating at least ...It'd be interesting to visit SOME. of the games we've played ...But I can also probably think of some games I would most decidedly NOT. want to visit if they were real
