This episode was the first time I think this season where they used some of the new cast members and I wasn't completely annoyed by them. Maybe there is hope, for the last 10 episodes anyway, lol. Although, John is just in Mexico now? WTF is going on?

There's been a lingering (get it?) question that's been going around as to where Ling is ....According to wiki Lucy Liu is listed as "recurring" ..Not a main cast member ....Same goes for Peter MacNicol (John Cage) ....Which explains how recently they've had such minimal screen time 2. And to expand on that ...Turns out Peter MacNicol is still in the intro credits ...Lucy Liu however was for some reason cut out of the credits for 5x12 (You can compare it later if you want.. But trust me ..It gets weirder) 3. True... Perhaps it would have worked better if Maddie was just part of a bad family and Ally ended up adopting her ...It seems kinda last minute to all of a sudden bring her in at the last hour and say she's Ally's daughter ....Although even IF. what you're suggesting would have happened ...It would STILL. take a long time to sort out all the legal stuff ...It wouldn't/shouldn't have happened in ONE. episode 4. Gotta be honest ...Fish & McBeal sounds like some horrible dish you'd be able to order at some crappy restaurant 5. Ally..... The fuck are you doing is Maddie's classroom? (which by the way has actors in it that DON'T look like Hayden's age) ....How embarrassing must it be for your daughter on her first day of school to have her neurotic mum attending class with her ...Are you TRYING. to set her up to a life filled with therapy?? 6. I can't fault this guy for firing the woman with AIDS ...She was told she had 2 years to live ...I feel like it would be a good business decision to let her go and to hire a new person to take over her responsibilities ...I mean ...She's fine NOW. ...But (And I guess this was filmed before AIDS was more manageable.. Given people with AIDS can live just as long as anyone else now with the proper treatment) it was excepted that in time she would start to diminish healthwise and would have to make regular trips to the doctor which would impact her job performance and thus impact the company she worked for ...So ..Yeah... Can't fault the guy for thinking ahead 7. Yeah it's been kinda weird having Bon Jovi show up at random moments ...We went from him fixing Ally's house to him apparently just living there??? ....Is she dating him??? Cause I feel like I haven't really SEEN. anything that suggests they're a couple ...So yeah having him show up every time Maddie has an issue with Ally (Which ..Jeebus this is her 2nd episode ..Chill the fuck out) ...Is kinda odd 8. You after Ally is shown shaking the FUCK. outta Maddie: "She's visualizing abusing this kid a lot" ...YEAH. ...And it's being treated like it's supposed to be funny ...Nothing about child abuse is funny ...And also... You're right... They've been visualizing it a LOT. ...Ally is supposed to come across as a good mother??? ....Yeah I don't think so ...Realistically she's unstable and shouldn't be around people 9. Ally starts speaking at an increased speed/pitch.... You: "What is this gonna be like for Tony who watches this on 2 times speed?" ...Yeah I wasn't able to follow that shit ...I had to go back an lower my speed ...But hey... Now you know what it's like to watch the way I watch things 13. So she fired Bon Jovi ...But now she's hiring him as a babysitter??? ...I ...ehm... I ....Sure.. Whatever 14. Ok... So they need to fire some people to make sure the firm stays in business? ...I got some suggestions ...But then again ..I also have an unfair advantage since I know what's gonna happen next
