Tomin (Vala's husband) has now: - Left his pregnant wife chained up with no food or water for days - Physically assaulted his wife - Threatened to kill his wife if she doesn't believe in his religion. (He even said if it was up to him he would burn her alive) The only reason Vala wasn't killed was because she is under Adria's protection. Even though he did the right thing in the end, the man is awful for Vala romantically. Daniel would never.

In my book he gets an *with his crimes. Like Teal'c he was force fed false religion & strong beliefs. Once he finally started seeing cracks in those beliefs he started the early stages of questioning things. It doesn't absolve him of the crimes he committed for the Ori, but shows it's not how he truly feels deep down & is capable of redemption

I like the look of the Ori ring transporter. The writing or pattern on it reminds me of Lord Of The Ring Elvish writing & has a bit of an elegant look to it. It makes me wonder what any Ori stargates look like

I suppose it would have undermined the point Vala was trying to make to Tomin if she had started her account about the origins of the Ori with, "a long time ago, in a galaxy, far, far away...." 🤔

Someone in the comments on YouTube was saying that the technology of The Ori far outmatch that of The Ancients ......Man ...I REALLY. would LOVE. to throw this scene in his smug stupid face ....The Prior just tried to use his staff to make Carter and Mitchell visible again but failed ....Seems like the Ori are no match for Merlin's device ....As in ...The Ancients tech is superior to the Ori's powers .......I'll refrain myself from calling him out on his stupidity ...The guy has a thing against being called out for how ignorant he is to the obvious sometimes 11. The scene between the Prior and Tomin is displaying another thing that's wrong with religion ...The Prior sees the words of the book of Origin in a certain way while Tomin draws his own conclusion as to what the words mean ....Religious people can never all agree on what their "good book" truly says ....If things are being held to light ..All of a sudden the book is speaking in metaphors ...UGH... Religion is stupid 12. I was right there with you ready to agree that is was weird that this woman who's the leader of this village just outted Teal'c ....But then I remembered the scene from earlier where the Prior used his staff on Teal'c, the woman and the scummy traitor guy and commanded them to tell him the truth ...I highly doubt this woman would have told the truth if it were not for the Prior forcing her to ....The scummy guy on the other hand would've gladly done whatever the Prior would ask him to do without the need for the staff and would probably offer to fiddle his diddle while he's at it ..Fucking loser 13. Is Tomin a bad guy ...Sure ...He's done bad things in the name of his so called gods ...He's done FAR. WORSE. things than hitting Vala ...Although that doesn't excuse that either ...BUT... We know of people who were once in a similar position as him... People who would not hesitate to kill any one of us in the name of their gods ...One of said people joined us in fighting those he once saw as gods ...He fought for his redemption and still does ...Perhaps Tomin can do the same
