I wanted to tell you about some differences between the books "Roswell High" and the TV series. In the books, the aliens can sense, see, and hear auras, scents, and music, but this ability is not present in the show. In the books, every person has a certain color to their aura. When someone is alive and happy, their aura is bright. When someone is on the verge of dying, their aura becomes a shade of dark brown, which turns black after death. Here are the aura colors: - Max Evans: liquid emerald - Michael Guerin: brick red - Alex Whitman: sunny orange - Isabel Evans: deep purple - Liz Parker: warm amber - Maria DeLuca: liquid blue I’m not sure of the best way to write this, so forgive me if it’s a bit rough. You can skip the TV Series section if you want; I just wanted to add it so you could compare if you want! In the TV Series: - Liz (Elizabeth) Parker - Maria DeLuca: Her dad left when she was 7 and is no longer around. She is an only child but has an annoying cousin, Sean DeLuca. - Alex Whitman: He was killed by Tess's mind-warping powers after decoding the aliens' destiny book. - Sheriff Jim Valenti: He became friends with the aliens and helped them. - Kyle Valenti: Liz's ex-boyfriend, who got shot and was saved by Max. He befriended the aliens and became a Buddhist. - The aliens were sent to Earth after they were killed on their own planet, to be reborn and help save their people. - Special Unit: A part of the FBI that hunts aliens, headed by Agent Daniel Pierce, who captured Max and studied him. In the Books: - Liz (Elizabeth) Ortecho - Maria DeLuca: Her parents divorced, but her dad is still around. She has a little brother named Kevin. - Alex Maines: He was sucked into a wormhole and taken to the aliens' home planet but was brought back to Earth. - Sheriff Valenti: He was the leader of Project Clean Slate, which was against the aliens. He gets killed when Adam blows up the base. - Kyle Valenti: Liz's idiotic boyfriend who eventually gets put in a mental facility for announcing on TV that aliens exist. - The aliens came to Earth, but their parents' ship wrecked because of an evil stowaway alien. - Project Clean Slate: Sheriff Valenti headed this group, which held aliens and tried to turn them into tools. They captured Michael, and Dr. Doyle studied him. Those are just some of the fun differences. What do you think of them?

Ok it's now a week later and I'm watching the Previous Leon and STILL. wondering ....THIS??? ...THIS. is how we end the show?? ...With the parents finding out the secret??? That's such an odd ending ...Long overdue ...But still ODD. ...I definitely feel like these parents deserve to be awarded some sort of medal for being the most OBLIVIOUS. characters on a TV Show ...How DUMB. do you have to be to NOT. notice the kids you've been raising for 12 years are some kinda special ....You found them wandering the fucking desert and NEVER. figured to look into this until NOW??? This is such a weird way to end the show ...They SHOULD. have known BEFORE. the show even started! 2. To continue on that note ...It's been 12 years ...The show is probably gonna have the parents forgive Max and Isabel ...But I'm SURE. of it ...No matter the bond they used to have or maybe still do ...With a secret like this ...And having kept it from them for so long ...In reality this would NOT. turn out well ....Y'know what ...Given they're probably gonna forgive them since we don't have time for more drama ...Aside from giving these 2 Ding Dongs the award for most oblivious characters on a TV Show ....I'mma also say they earn the award for biggest doormats on any TV Show aswell ....There's NO. way I'd forgive a person for lying to me for 12 fucking years! ...NO. WAY. 3. Liz tosses Max's phone away (and hits some poor cat who was just minding his own business) ...But also... Who the fuck does that?!?! ..I mean ...I guess this was 2002 and phones were still sturdy ....But imagine doing that nowadays ...No fucking way you wouldn't crack that screen with such a toss and then be able to laugh it off ....I'd be like ..Bish you just destroyed my phone! ...Why?! What did I do to deserve that?! 4. Also ...Liz has her own land-line / phone number / answering machine hooked up straight to her bedroom????? ....The FUCK?!?! 5. Aight ...I guess Liz isn't cured of the alien thingamajig she was suffering from?? ...Girl just came into the room and threw Tess around like a ragdoll ...I guess the side-effects are no longer an issue? 6. Yeah I don't know why Max is trusting Tess about this link she claims she has with the baby ...It's like Liz says "convenient" ...I feel like it's super obvious that Tess is just making that shit up so she can stay alive ....And given how Tess just got tossed across the room and the baby is fine ...I'm pretty sure the signs are saying that Tess's pants are about to spontaneously combust on the count of being a liar 7. Oh crap ....They didn't get rid of the videotape ....Welp ...That's evidence now 8. Okkkeeeeey... Maria ...What's up with the hair colour change?? You had red hair last episode and now it's brown... What's up girl?? You going through an identity crisis or something? ...added later... Or did the actress already know the show was ending and was like.. Max: "Zan's asleep" ..Valenti: "We're running out of time Max" ...Kyle: "We need a plan B" ...Me and my dumb humour: "I'm pretty sure it's too late for that mah dude ...Baby has already been born" 10. NAH DUHHHH!!! ...Ofcourse Tess was lying to stay alive ....That was so fucking obvious ...You can't trust anything this girl is saying 11. Ok ....I dunno about you ...But the MOMENT. Tess admitted that there was no link ...I wanted to see someone snap her neck and stoically be like "What? We were all thinking it" 12. HA! Tess... You's funny ....This girl ....Just got a deciding vote from Liz ..The girl who probably hates her the most ...Then wakes her up and asks for a favour???? Bish ...You JUST. got one! 13. Weeeeeeeellll... You say they got a videotape ...But... Wouldn't that videotape have been on that military base that Tess just nuked??? 14. That said ....Tess just nuked a military base ...And it's been quiet for a whole week??? Soooo.. You're telling me that a military base just got attacked and the U.S. government just shrugged that off??? ....YEH... SURE. 15. Welp... It's probably for the best that Max is having Zan be placed in foster care ...We all know how Max is with kids 16. You suggested that Zan moved the windows ...I'm thinking it was the result of the explosion from the alien nuke Tess set off with her powers ...I think Zan is just a human ...We have one episode left ...I doubt we've got time to have him all of a sudden be half alien too 17. Aight ...So aside from the notes I've been posting on every single episode which should clearly convey how I've felt about this show (if you read them correctly wink wink) ...I'll pitch in one last time since these will be my final notes on the show as I see no reason to make notes on the final episode as I won't be seeing you read them ...I admittedly apparently didn't see the entire show before we started it ...I DEFINITELY. remember watching Season 1 ...But I only remember small parts of Seasons 2 and 3 (or maybe I DID. watch those seasons too but I just blocked most of it cause of how mediocre it was) ...Was it a good show?? It was alright ...It had it's ups and downs ...Every show has them ...The next show will have them too 18. I liked Michael and Maria ...They were great together ...I don't like how they didn't end up together in the end ...(guessing the final episode won't change that) 19. Max and Liz had a bit too much drama going on ...But they were obviously end couple goal material soooo... Obviously they'd remain together (unless the final episode throws us for a loop) 20. Isabel deserved a better storyline ...She was destined to escape Roswell and head off to college or whatever ...Instead she ended up getting married at 18 years old and acting like she was much older than she should have been ...I'll never agree that THAT. is a good age to get into something as serious as marriage ...NEVER. ...It's INSANE. to think you're mature enough at 18 years old to be getting married ..UNLESS. it's the only way to escape a broken home ...But even then it's FUCKED. UP. 21. The parents not knowing their secret was dumb ....They should have known from the start ...This isn't a secret you can believably keep hidden for THAT. long and it made the parents look like absolutele morons having not figured it out waaaay sooner 22. I don't have much to say about Valenti and Kyle ...They started feeling more like side characters the more the show went along ..shrug.. I wish they'd have been used more ...Valenti was only there when they needed someone to help them out of a tight spot and Kyle .....What happened to his crush on Isabel?? What happened to him getting powers due to him being healed?? What the hell was the point of his whole buddhism storyline when he was STILL. acting like a horny teenager sometimes? ...He was there as a convenience to the plot ...Does that make the Valentis the Enzos of Roswell? 23. Some of the stories wrapped up really quickly or were taken into directions that weren't really needed to further the plot ...Sadly it didn't always work ...But in the end I feel like it didn't make the show BAD. ....It was an ok show ...Apparently not as accurate to the source material as Roswell, New Mexico though ...Althought I highly doubt SOME. of that show's storylines happened in the books either ...We'll see how that turns out though ...And we'll laugh about the odd additions I suppose 24. I wonder what the final episode is going to give us ...I definitely don't remember ...Although I've been a bit cheeky and did sorta peek at the final scene a couple months ago ...I wonder how we end up there 25. Another show over... But we'll be staying in Roswell for a bit longer... Hopefully you'll give it a decent shot and you won't overly compare Roswell, New Mexico to THIS show like SOME fans do ...It's NOT. the same show ...But before we dive into that ...Go ahead Froots ...Do your thing (Random side note.. I was singing the lyrics to the theme song while browsing on over to post these notes and changed the lyrics in my head to "I can not pee..
