With the Supergate now connected to the Pegasus galaxy instead of the Ori galaxy, the Ori can't send anymore ships. During the meeting in the Atlantis conference room, Sam says that the supergate has been inactive since the Ori sent their first wave which means only the original 4 OP ships made it through to the Milky Way. And now with 1 ship down that leaves 3 to go. Finally a win.

Daniel finally made it to Atlantis! I do have to say though, I really like that, in the end, both Daniel and Vala came and explored Atlantis together given the role she played in preventing him the past, especially his first trip. It's a nice way to bring it full circle.

Emerson (Odyssey colonel) is like: "We're getting a good look at your fair city as we speak" .....I dunno about that mah dude ...Pretty sure SG-1 is blocking your view since they're standing in front of the bridge windows you and your crew look out of .....I bet it's pretty difficult to steer that ship with such a crappy view 5. Aaaand last ...Little bit of a VFX nitpick ...We see the Odyssey breaking out of the clouds and heading towards Atlantis ...For anyone who has seen these ships more than a couple of times there's a bit of a fuckup in this shot ....The BC-304's have a structure on the top that is always shown to be on the aft-left of the ship (as you can also see in later shots in this very episode) ....In THIS. shot however of the Odyssey approaching Atlantis it's on the aft-right top of the ship .....Someone for SOME. reason mirrored the shot and put it in the episode 6. Sooooo... The plan is to blow up a stargate that's orbiting a black hole with a nuke ...Thereby diverting the outgoing wormhole to some random planet in the Pegasus galaxy ....Man ...I hope whatever planet the gate is diverted to doesn't have life on it ..Cause those people are FUCKED. 7. Soooooo... Even though this is one of my favourite episodes of Season 10 ...There's some slight inconsistencies in it ...2 that come to mind off the top of my head ....1 being that it was said before that ONLY. the Atlantis gate had the ability to dial Earth (and by extent, the Milky Way galaxy since I doubt you could punch in some random 8 symbol address to dial ANOTHER. gate in the same galaxy) ...Now apparently all Pegasus gates have the ability to dial a Milky Way gate since we can now all of a sudden just make an dialing crystal like the one that was previously said to ONLY. be available on the Atlantis gate? ......Number 2 ...They just dialed to the Milky Way galaxy without the use of a ZPM??? ...Hmmm... Interesting ....Sooo... What?? ....Having a gate next to a black hole SOMEHOW. allows you to dial other galaxies??? How does THAT. work!?! 8. Mitchell about the black hole: "Is that thing cool or what?" ..McKay: "What you're looking at is called the accretion disk.. It's matter trapped in the gravity well ..You can't actually see the black hole itself" ....Mitchell: "Which is cool" ...Breaks the fourth wall and looks at the camera with the expression that basically says "Is he always like this?" ....Yes Mitchell.. McKay likes to be a smartass 9. Another fuckup with the VFX ...They're showing they're releasing a Milky Way gate into space next to the black hole ....Pause the shot on the gate and you'll notice that this gate has 7 Earth symbols on it and several other symbols that are also repeated a bunch of times ...This gate essentially wouldn't be able to dial anywhere ....Imagine wanting to dial someone on your phone but you only have number 1, 2 ,3 an 0 to work with ...You don't have the other numbers ...Good luck trynna call anyone 10. You also bring up a good question ...Why are we renting the Russian gate if we can just yoink one from another planet? .....I mean... One hole in that idea would be that I guess the Russians would take their gate back and start using it again soooooo... There'd be conflicting incoming and outgoing wormholes being established all the time ...Unless we could somehow make the SGC gate take top priority ...But that would just piss off the Russians and cause a whole lot of unwanted tension 11. Soooo.. Daniel just asked for the addresses to 2 planets in the Milky Way ...Keep in mind that Atlantis is situated in the Pegasus galaxy yet the addresses shown are 7 symbol addresses with Milky Way symbols to indicate where they are located ....Shouldn't both of these addresses be shown as 8 symbol addresses and use Pegasus symbols instead? 12. Ok I realise I'm nitpicking a lot but I have ONE. more thing to say before I'll try to shut up about the inconsistencies .....They mention SEVERAL. times that The Ori have invaded "this" galaxy and that we need to save "this" galaxy before it's too late .......They're in the Pegasus galaxy right now ...They should be saying The Ori have invaded "our" galaxy and we need to save "our" galaxy before it's too late ....They're wording things like they're back home and they do it several times throughout the episode 13. Soooo... Yeah ...Some idiots on YouTube back when we posted 9x01 tried to explain to you that we had seen Merlin before back in the episode of Atlantis where Weir went back in time and met Janus ...That he was the head of the Ancient council and even went as far as mentioning his name being Moros ...Which wasn't revealed until THIS. episode ....Luckily ...Ya boi is on top of making sure spoilers get nipped in the butt ...People need to be more careful with their yappers and shut them if it hasn't happened yet 14. DAMMIT! ...Another nitpick ..I'm sorry.. But UNLESS. no ascended being has stepped foot inside of Atlantis in between the time the Ancients abandoned it and the time the Atlantis expedition arrived (which by the way WOULDN'T make Weir the first person to step foot inside the city cause she WASN'T the first to step through the gate in the pilot) ....Then the first ascended being to step foot inside of Atlantis would be Chaya from that Season 1 episode where Sheppard had a fling with an ascended being ....Sorry ...Last nitpick ...I hope ....STILL. one of my favourite episodes of the season though (which is saying something if there's so much to nitpick about?) 15. Same Froots ...Daniel BEFORE. he ascended was a bit ...Meh ..Most of the time.. A bit whiney sometimes perhaps ...But when he came back he became a much better character ...I NEVER. hated him or anything ..But I DO. have to agree that he became more likeable when he came back ...He's more no-nonsense but also a bit more of a goofball sometimes which I think is fun 16. So little side note ...We know that Merlin used to go by Myrddin and Moros ....And now we know that Morgan Le Fay used to go by Ganos Lal .....Some of these names I used to use for some of my game characters ...Irrelevant ...But yeah ...It's interesting their names changed over time 17. I LOVE. Daniel telling the Ancients off for their dumbass non-interference rule ...They're knowingly screwing themselves over by NOT. helping ...It's about time someone had the balls to call them out on their stupidity 18. Aaaaand then the others punished Morgan Le Fay for trying to do the right thing ....Great ...Good job guys ...............Fucking idiots 19. Sooooo... We blew up a Wraith ship ...We blew up an Ori ship ...AND... We opened up the supergate and thus cut The Ori off from our galaxy ...They STILL. have 3 ships in our galaxy though but for the time being they don't have the means to send more ....We finally won one!

Man, you said you were "holding onto your shoes," and I was 100% going to just roll with it being an Aussie expression I wasn't familiar with. I guess we just have to add it to the Shannanigan lexicon. But yeah, it would have been hilarious if, half a second before Daniel physically stepped foot onto Atlantis he got beamed away.
