Recently, for life reasons, I found myself moving from one place to another more frequently than before, and I was unable to stay near my workspace for long.
For obvious reasons, I couldn't just move around my whole equipment wherever I went, (Even though I was considering it), so Instead, I started looking for alternatives for me to draw on the go.
After some consideration, testing other options, and many reviews, I opted to purchase a Samsung S6 lite tablet, which compared to some Premium Apple alternatives, it already included a Drawing pen without extra cost.
This would my first portable drawing device, if you don't count my old 2DS and my Flipnote doodles 😆
While this device doesn't have all the features that a Desktop Workspace would (Like more font options for comics), after testing for a few months, I can say it is very good alternative for Mobile drawing, and as you've seen in the past few artworks, it hasn't compromised the quality at all.
Since my current desktop license for Clip Studio is not compatible with this samsung tablet, after the software trial expired, I decided to subscribe to a yearly plan for their mobile license, along with other software purchases with premium features like "FlipaClip", which I plan to use as an alternative for my old Flipnote animation experiments, and "Pixel Studio" for my mobile pixel art needs.
In Summary:
-Samsung S6 lite, case, screen Glass protector, shipping cost and taxes.
-Huion H640P compatible with Android phones.
-Clip Studio Yearly license for a mobile Device.
-Pixel Studio premium features.
-FlipaClip premium features.
I also purchased a few different touch pens for smartphones, but it definitely can't compare with a tablet pen when it comes to precision in the strokes.
The last two softwares can be used on smartphones and tablet simultaneously as a one time purchase, while CSP needs a separate license for the smartphone version, so I'm currently only subscribed to a one device license.
In addition to all of that, I'm also considering purchasing new set memory Rams for my desktop PC, because I suspect that the faulty ram is causing windows to crash from time to time, and I think it's about to expand the size of them as well.
Along that, I'm evaluating purchasing the licence of "Aseprite", which is desktop software tailored for Pixel art and pixel animation, but I'll let you know if I proceed with that one.
