Tabby's eye visibility (Patreon)

I was discussing one day with CJ about this aspect, specifically when I made the patreon adventure artwork. He told me that he found weird the use of transparent hair. And I share his words:

"Sometimes it's cool.  Like when most of the eye is there. But when it's mostly covered, it just looks so weird to me.  Plus it takes away a sense of mystery"

And it left me with a couple of questions about a key element on Tabby's design that I might have been neglecting for a long time.

For those who were around when I created Tabby, you might recall that she used to have her eye fully covered in hair, mostly because I really  liked that feature to begin with. But eventually I dropped it because I wanted her to be more expressive, mostly because in her chibi form it looked more cute doing it differently (see an example here: Link)

And after a long sketch session with her, I think I'm starting to dig the old and mysterious look that she had. I know this might be perceived as a minor detail (and some people won't even notice the change XD) but I'm interested to hear your opinions about it. 

This might also lead to an interesting section for the patreon feed, where you have direct input on the design aspect of the characters and artworks I create, we'll see how that develops in the future.
