Maybe some of you might be aware that I've been meaning to upgrade a very particular piece of my equipment for a while, considering I've been using the same pen tablet for a decade...

While it has been hard decision due to the variety of brands and choices that exist nowadays, and the pros and cons that come with each, I decided to make a jump and give monitor tablets a try.

While the higher end professional brands prices are outrageous,From $1300 for a 13 inch screen (2013 model) without import taxes, and after watching a lot of product reviews I decided to compromise and give the alternatives a chance.

The model I ordered is the Kamvas pro 20 (2019 model) at a cost of $600 (You can check the site here: Link ) Basically a 20 inch monitor in which I should be able to draw directly on the screen.

I placed the order on June 17 and it was shipped around June 24. Hopefully the item will be delivered in perfect conditions.

Currently I'm not factoring the import tax, which might be around 30% or 35% of the price of the product, but that I'm going to find out for sure when the item is finally delivered.

Ideally, this monitor should be able improve my workflow, because if my experience with the 3DS tells me something, is that I work better and faster when I'm able to draw over a screen, but we'll have to wait and see if the performace and quality of the product measures up with my expectations.
