SINCERE LIARS // Progress and ideas - 09/02/19 (Patreon)

Hello mates, long time with no updates in general, huh? Well, a lot has happened, but I've tried to make that "a lot" be related to the projects on this patreon, for the most part. After several options (and input from friends of mine) "Demon girls" transitions to --> "Sincere Liars" which is a title that i like much more than blatantly stating what the characters are.

During this time i was working on designs and pages in general, so we are going to go thru them and see why I'm having such a wild time having progress (outside of the fact that college is biting my ass).

Before continuing, a couple personal updates: I'm on my very last two semesters of college, I'm working on my grade project (which is like the thesis n whatever), and then I'll have to defend my work, but after that? it's over, no more college, which is cool.
On the other hand I've been working on ANOTHER VN with my good friend L.L. Rodriguez, this VN is called The- Sanctum, I'd apreciate you giving it a shot, and if it's possible, support it on patreon if you're able to, the man puts a lot of effort on this project, so it'd be good to get all the help possible (and by proxy helping me, lmao).

Ok back to the project updates...

I started drawing this outfit, since i wanted to work on a "hell clothing" for Haley, since she's an asshole, she'd be wearing winter clothing in hell just to make everyone around her uncomfortable at her fashion decisions. This was made with the purpose of a page i was working on, that i wanted to use as an introduction to whatever place these girls come from and why they are in the mortal realm in the first place.

Over here you can see a (incomplete) cover and a couple pages, this was supposed to be the first issue. I'm still not sure if i should keep up this cover and finish it, since i don't know if it'd print well or if it's good to portray what I'm going for, i mean, i put a shit ton of effort, but we'll see. On the other hand, a couple pages of yet another bunch of pages that I'm not sure if i should drop them or continue them.

After all of this, at some point i picked up again (with a new style of sketching since i noticed used these two color options together helps out to not get confused when sketching concepts in general) and i started doodling the characters back, and once again started doing concepts for shit that was missing for the ideas i had (like background or side characters).

For these characters, i need a cashier for an scene on the pages i was working on, so i decided fuck it, i'mma do the whole staff, the only change in both pics is that the first nerdy girl wasn't too well done, so i switched her on the other, much more comfortable with the result (might have to fix the middle guy a bit, got a bit of feedback that concerns me).

And here you can get some super incomplete pages with no dialogue. I'm trying my best to be efficient and do the sketches of enough pages to at least have the necessary to work on a full issue of this comic idea, and finally publish it, obviously with all the credits to my patrons in general that fund all this shit.

Well, I'll TRY to keep you all on the loop about shit that happens, right now I'm with my final college protect, working on The Sanctum with Cucaracha Studios and getting ready for my city's Comic Con (i hope god i can make it this year too).
