Who/What/Why are Sims 4 Mods:

Sims 4 mods can really be anything. We can break them down into two main groups: Script and Non-Script. Imagine you want to have nipple piercings on your sim - or have the leg-lamp from A Christmas Story in your home. Those are basic Non-Script mods that don't mess with the code of the game. Entire websites (Patreon, The Sims Resource) are dedicated to showcasing all the extra furniture, clothing, hairstyles, chairs, staircases, and junk you can add to customize every aspect of your sims's home and style.

Script mods are anything that gets into the guts of the game to change how it behaves such as adding more personality traits or helping your sim smoke pot. These mods are fewer since they are more complex to make well.

NOTE: Not all mods work well together.

• WinRAR (secretly free!) OR Unarchiver (free!)

• A generous amount of extra storage space

How to Install:

Wicked Whims has a great guide on how to install virtually every Sims 4 mod. You'll want to keep your mods folder really organized especially when installing new content. Since not all mods play nice together, rooting out the stinker becomes much easier when everything is labeled nicely. Also, good organization makes updating your mods a breeze. General rule of thumb is to not go more than 2 folders deep from your original mods folder.

This is the cornerstone of all modded sex content for the Sims 4. All of the other mods listed here run with WW. You do not need anything other than the base game for this mod to function.

This mod allows animators from all over to create custom, playlist-able sex animations for your sims, complete with giggle physics, genitals, and sounds! Brother, this one makes the dream WERK. Kritical makes the best fetish clothing, furniture, dungeons, and game adjustments in the entire sex mod community. I'm talking doghouses, cages, spanking benches, cum feeders, brainwashing stations, piss punishment - this really takes the BDSM cake. A few elements require official Sims 4 expansions - however you'll get so much of a kick out of their content no matter what. Final Notes

Ok folks, you've made it all the way to the end. You've installed two bajillion GB of sex furniture to your hard drive and are on your way to making the Sims 4 a kinkier experience. The most important thing to do now (besides having fun) is stay updated with your mods. Whenever EA comes out with a new expansion, it tends to break everything you've worked so hard to install. Luckily, these experienced modders know how to fix it quickly and will usually warn you ahead of time since they all know each other (rad right??).
