Personally, the absolute best is identity directly influenced by the physical transformation, not just replaced or overwritten. "My breasts are so- I mean, really, these can only be called tits. Might as well enjoy them." "Corruption? No, my dear- My more powerful form is simply elevating me above the need for shame or morals."

Not quite sure where some of my favorite elements fall in those three - I like things like lovely mutation and new breed where the personality doesn't get swapped out or killed off, but progressively changes from the transformation/influence.
