Hey everybody! This morning I sent out some surveys asking for the addresses of anyone getting the only physical reward with the Kickstarter campaign - the sticker! Here is the actual design. The sticker is being printed at 3x3 inches (7.62cm x 7.62cm), and is definitely NSFW.
I wanted to go with something iconic but simple, so I revisited a piece of promo art from the campaign and... well... BOOBS!

Secondary update: I'm VERY confident that the first alpha for the game will be released this month, friggin' finally. Level one isn't entirely complete, but we now have playable mechanics and the focus has shifted primarily to level design and the enemy interactions. This alpha is basically meant to showcase current progress and give you all something to test out, so there will likely be some unfinished artwork and it needs to be viewed as very much still in development. It's also going to be released as a public alpha to help build more interest in the game.

Importantly, backers on here are going to continue getting updated versions of the level until I feel like it's a completed demo and accurately reflects what we want to do with the rest of the game. I can't put a timetable on that yet, but hopefully it'll only be a few extra weeks to finalize everything and move on.

Initially, the budget was intended to include two levels. After this much time, I think it's going to be necessary to bring that down to just the one initial level.  Development is ABSOLUTELY going to keep going for the second level (which is already designed) and onward but the rest of the game is going to be funded through the Secret Stash Patreon.

After the alpha is out, the reason I want to switch the on-going development of Cretaceous Seas over to Patreon is for the benefits of the monthly support model.  I only intend to only launch another round on kickstarter if that doesn't work out.  I've been working on this project long enough now to have a better sense of how game development goes, both creatively and financially.  One big change that is planned is hiring on at least one coder, full-time.  To create the entire game/story, I'm expecting at least another 2 years of work on it so the monthly model gives a much greater financial stability. I'm also planning to include more directly erotic content, not just vore.

Tertiary update: The custom illustrations, pinups, and artbook are still in development and are not slated to be released until after the alpha
