Nicolas Roeg just died a couple days ago...if you've never seen this, i'd urge you to seek it out. It's magical on multiple levels, and Alan Moore lifted a few visuals and concepts for Watchmen. Before going completely sideways on film adaptations, Moore actually wanted Roeg to direct the Watchmen movie.
