My money is on Mora. Minos showed up very early on and basely pitched in for next to no reason at all. Ambar, near as I can tell, has gone out of her way to lend a helping hand to Mora. I dare say Geecku is incidental in this entire matter.

I'm assuming Mora is their mutual charge - as a hybrid, she represents an interesting set of possibilities. Having Ambar take notice of her has probably led to others also taking notice. Others that are...less benign, if I had to guess. That's who Minos has to worry about. And Ambar, as the PM, can't just tell people to leave our cowgirl alone - that's not how political bodies work. Or illegal ones, come to that. If the Queen were on her throne, Ambar could appeal to her to make everyone play nice (interesting that Minos doesn't argue that the Queen could also hurt Mora - the Royalty may be lazy, but they are also compassionate, apparently). Who the queen is, on the third hand, is an intriguing question, indeed...Sarah is actually a possibility, but I don't think so - Minos seems pretty annoyed with the queen not taking her duties, but he's been nothing but kind to Sarah. Same issue with Geeku - Minos finds her exasperating, but that's on her behavior, not on her shirking her duties.

Unless I'm missing something, I always thought Kate was the Prime Queen. I always assumed The High Prime was more like a Vice President sort of, having a great amount of influence and power if the President isn't around or active. Of course I could be wrong, I've long since forgotten where I could have read such a thing. But at least we know one thing, Minos is a good line of last defense. As for the person they need to defend, I feel it could be Mora, with her heritage that might be very interesting. Or Geecku, though I believe she's more than capable of defending herself at the same time. For whatever reason, I also feel like the girl could be Sarah, though that one is just a slim possibility for me. I love this page for the alluring mystery and foreshadowing. I loved seeing this page as it was getting worked on (and not just because of our super fun multi-stream), because of all the possible contexts these panels could have been leading to. Seeing the final page now is a real treat. And of course as always the colors are perfect, the effect used on Ambar is really really reallllllly cool. I am so looking forward to the next page even though this is the end of the Minos and Ambar conversation for now.

You mean the High Prime is more like the... Prime Minister? :D That would make sense since monarchal systems typically have Prime Ministers rather than presidents. and yeah, what you say makes sense. (I did it for the pun, but if the shoe fits...)
