The winner of the first Character Portrait poll is: Daphne Greengrass! (Patreon)

You would not believe how much of a rollercoaster of emotions this poll has been. I've been waiting all day to know who will win, so I could begin working on it.

Frankly, I am astonished that Daphne won. She only had a few lines in chapter 8, and most of them were comic relief at the expense of her sister! I seriously expected people would vote for the OCs or the less used characters like Narcissa or Bill. I guess none can deny the appeal of the not so cold Daphne Greengrass.

I could see the writing on the wall about two hours ago so and I had a choice. Do I wait to the last moment and spend a few hours overnight to work on the portrait? Or do I gamble and start working on Daphne? I bit the bullet and just finished generating the best image I can do, after literal hundreds of discarded images that I wish I could obliviate myself from seeing.

Now a few words regarding the portrait, this is Daphne at 13 years old. A bit tall for her age, but nothing strange for teenagers back then, let alone any magical shenanigans that comes with puberty. Don't let that innocent smile fool you, though, she is as mischievous as they come, as you shall find out in Chapter 9 which shall be released next Friday for my Burger patrons.
