If this was a new game I would certainly say yes let me choose my own name but the problem is the workload it will cost to look over the code just to avoid bugs to happen, just to have a other name displayed, would be in my opinion be better invested in new content.

Yes, I'm not going to change the setting in A New Dawn. In a new game however this is very easy to implement. Instead of writing the name you just write \P[1].

Hell yeah. Having the protagonist named the same as her Daz model name was always a bit awkward for me :D
